Abstract: The invention relates to a hair cosmetic composition in the form of a water-in-silicone emulsion comprising in a cosmetically acceptable medium: (i) at least one non-oxyalkylenated silicone chosen from linear and cyclic, volatile and non-volatile, and arylated and non-arylated silicones, wherein the total non-oxyalkylenated silicone is more than 10% by weight with respect to the total weight of the composition; (ii) at least one emulsifying oxyalkylenated silicone; and (iii) at least one anionic, cationic, amphoteric, or non-ionic fixing polymer. The invention also relates to the inclusion of the hair cosmetic composition in the manufacture of hair formulations, such as care products, conditioners, or products for fixing and/or retaining the form of the hair.
