    Abstract: An x-radiator, particularly useful for intra-oral dental exposures, includes a common housing having a barrel at one end, a high-voltage generator having a high-voltage transformer being arranged in the housing adjacent said barrel, and an x-ray tube being mounted in the housing at an end of the transformer opposite said barrel, said transformer having a cylindrical configuration having an opening with a longitudinal axis through which opening the x-ray beam passes from the x-ray tube through the transformer coil to the barrel.
