  • Publication number: 20100005967
Abstract: Carbon dioxide, methane, nitrous oxide and three groups of fluorinated gases have been referred to as greenhouse gases and the most offensive gases in contributing to Global Warming This invention comprises the use of Titration and other chemical oxidation—reduction reactions in novel ways to scrub these gases from the Earth's atmosphere. The invention comprises identifying, developing, and spraying base aerosols to neutralize carbon dioxide, nitrous oxide, sulphur dioxide, and similar compounds whose oxides form acids when dissolved in water vapor. Acid-base titrations result in neutralization of the acid and the base. The formation of a salt and water typically are by-products. Salt precipitates such as CACO3—calcium carbonate or limestone settle into the oceans naturally forming limestone deposits which act as homes for microscopic sea life. Carbonic acid which results from CO2 being dissolved in water produces calcium carbonate when treated with a base.

  • Patent number: 6553589
Abstract: A carrying structure for support of an infant which cradles the infant in a preferred sleeping position. The infant is supported within a basket structure in which a curved board and cushion combination provide a resting surface which is at an angle to a base which is fixed to the main basket which comprises the body of the device. By supporting an infant's sleeping position such that the infant cannot lye flat on its back, danger of asphyxiation of a young infant is greatly reduced. The disclosed infant carrying basket addresses one of the suspected causes of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome by presenting a resting surface which urges the infant to remain in an off-level position, essentially sleeping partially on one of their sides.

  • Patent number: 4155343
Abstract: A safety device for use on the top of a stove or in combination with a range. The safety device comprises a plate pivotally mounted on the front of the stove, which plate is adapted to be pivoted to a horizontal position overlying the front burners of the stove. The purpose of the device is to prevent small children from touching the hot front burners of the stove or from pulling any pots or pans on the front burners of the stove onto himself.
