For example, one or more embodiments described herein can comprise a split flap wheel apparatus, comprising: a housing adapted to rotate about a center axis; flaps hingeably coupled, via hinges, to the housing that rotate externally to the housing with rotation of the housing; and a motor disposed within the housing that drives the rotation of the housing. One or more embodiments described herein can comprise a device comprising: a housing with at least one opening; a wheel within the housing; a group of hinged flaps affixed to an outside surface of the wheel along a circumference of the wheel; and a motor disposed within the wheel that operates to spin the wheel by the fixed amount of angular rotation.

Abstract: A stopper for a split-flap display device is disclosed. For instance, a split-flap bit is disclosed comprising an integrated stopper, e.g., molded as part of a housing of the split-flap bit. The stopper is molded with the housing, and stops the flaps/cards in a split-flap mechanism from turning once the motor stops for display of a specified set of flaps.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer-readable storage media are disclosed that facilitate flow design for multimodal communication applications. Aspects for selecting, generating, and/or arranging application modules are described which include providing a graphical user interface (GUI) and receiving a user input via the GUI. The application modules are interchangeable within an interchangeable sequence of application modules based on the user input. The interchangeable sequence includes a first application module configured to receive data via a first communication channel, and a second application module configured to receive data via a second communication channel disparate from the first communication channel.

Abstract: Methods, apparatuses, and computer program products are disclosed that facilitate providing and managing location-based interactive campaigns. With respect to facilitating providing location-based interactive campaigns, a geographic location is defined within a virtual fence, and associated with an interactive campaign. Location data identifying a current location of a wireless device is then received and processed to determine whether to include or exclude the wireless device from participating in the interactive campaign based on the current location relative to the defined geographic location. With respect to facilitating the management of location-based interactive campaigns, a configurable campaign profile is stored and configured according to a first configuration. The configurable campaign profile is then reconfigured according to a second configuration in response to receiving an input associated with the configurable campaign profile.

Abstract: A content request, storage, and configuration system is provided which associates pieces of content with one or more keywords, and configures the content for the benefit of a user. Users load content into the system or link content elsewhere to the system, and optionally designate a set of actions to be taken. Keywords are assigned to the content and actions by the system based on user input and/or auto-generation by the system. Any of a variety of methods, including but not limited to Short Message Service (SMS) and instant messaging, are used by a user to communicate these keywords to the system, to indicate user interest in the associated content. Receipt by the system of the keywords from the user triggers the system to retrieve the relevant pieces of content, associate said content with the user making the request, and to take the designated actions if appropriate. In addition, users may designate that the system retrieve the relevant pieces of content and associate said content with other users.
