Abstract: A basketball shot counter includes a mounting shaped and sized to connect the basketball shot counter to a portion of a basketball goal having a basketball hoop; a vibration sensor; a processor in data communication with the vibration sensor, wherein the processor is configured to receive, from the vibration sensor, a datastream of vibration sensor readings; determine, from the datastream of vibration sensor readings, that a first basketball shot was attempted without successfully going through the basketball hoop; and determine, from the datastream of vibration sensor readings, that a second basketball shot was attempted and successfully went through the basketball hoop.

Abstract: A reciprocating saw blade that includes a longitudinal body having a first end and a second end and a first longitudinal cutting edge parallel to a second longitudinal cutting edge. The blade includes a mounting structure located at the first end which is angled at an acute angle relative to the first longitudinal cutting edge. At least one of the first longitudinal cutting edge and the second longitudinal cutting edge has a plurality of teeth oriented for cutting on the substantially push stroke.

In particular, an actuator system includes a modular brake component having an integral brake housing configured to mount to a motor, wherein the integral brake housing is environmentally sealed; a drive coupling within the integral brake housing configured to mechanically couple with an output shaft of the motor; one or more braking disks arranged in the integral brake housing configured to brake movement of the drive coupling when engaged; an armature in the integral brake housing configured to engage or disengage the one or more braking disks with the drive coupling; and an inspection window through the integral brake housing aligned with at least a portion of the one or more braking disks. A method for implementing an actuator system is disclosed as well.

Based on location data associated with each data item, a relative geographic presentation within, or otherwise superimposed over, the 2D presentation is generated relative to a 3D representation of the geographic region. Graphical interconnections are then derived based on the positions of the data items relative to each other and depicted in a manner which shows both the relationship between the data items and the geographic relationship with respect to the geographic region. The graphical interconnections may further be derived in a manner so as to depict a or other wise follow the perspective depicted by the 2D view, e.g. as arcs between related data items conforming to the depicted spherical contour of a globe.
