  • Patent number: 10070539
Abstract: One aspect is an electrical junction with wireless controller configured for attachment in a building structure. The junction includes a junction body having surfaces defining an opening. A junction device is coupled to the opening of the junction body and a wireless controller is coupled to the junction body. An external conductor routs voltage from a voltage source in the building structure into the junction body. The wireless controller is electrically coupled between the external conductor and the junction device and is mechanically coupled to the junction body behind a surface of the building structure.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: April 27, 2017
Date of Patent: September 4, 2018
    Assignee: Advanced Currents Corporation

  • Patent number: 8415561
Abstract: An electrical enclosure includes a first part and a second part together forming a body. The body has an inner surface and an outer surface that are separated on opposing surfaces of the body. An outer junction is adjacent the outer surface of the body and an inner junction adjacent the inner surface of the body. Conductive pass-throughs that are at least partially contained within the body electrically couple the inner and outer junctions. An external conductor routing high-voltage from a high-voltage source in the building structure is coupled to the outer junction and mechanically fixed thereto, enclosed by a cover engaging the outer surface sufficiently to provide fire protection and prevent degradation, and such that no portion of the external conductor passes through the body into the inner surface. The second part is removable through the first part thereby providing access to the outer junction through the first part.

  • Patent number: 7705239
Abstract: A junction device includes a junction device main portion configured for attachment to an electrical enclosure and a modular device portion electrically coupled to the junction device main portion and configured for electrical coupling to an inner junction of the electrical enclosure. At least one conductive pass-through electrically couples the inner junction of the electrical enclosure to an outer junction of the electrical enclosure. The outer junction is enclosed by an outer enclosure that is configured to engage the electrical enclosure thereby surrounding the outer junction to prevent degradation of a coupled external high-voltage conductor and to provide fire protection.

  • Patent number: 7425677
Abstract: An electrical enclosure includes a body, a face, an outer junction, an inner junction, and a pass-through. The body has an inner surface and an outer surface that are separated without an opening. The outer junction is adjacent the outer surface of the body. The inner junction is adjacent the inner surface of the body. The pass-through is at least partially contained within the body and it electrically couples the inner and outer junctions.
