Abstract: Present embodiments are directed to a gripping device configured to couple with a pipe element. A housing of the gripping device is configured to extend over and at least partially around a distal end of the pipe element. Torsional clamp devices are configured to engage an outer circumferential surface of the pipe element with frictional engagement features that extend radially inward from the housing. A sealing mechanism is configured to shift a pipe seal relative to the housing and into engagement with the distal end of the pipe element and to facilitate fluid flow through the gripping device into the pipe element.

Abstract: A device and method are provided for dispensing a quantity of food to be cooked. The device includes a freezer, a storage container located in the freezer, means located in the freezer for dispensing a predetermined quantity of food from the storage container into a secondary container, and means for dispensing the quantity of food from the secondary container to a location outside the freezer. The means for dispensing a predetermined quantity of food may be, for example, a magazine with dual spiral flights for dispensing food items one at a time, or a vibratory conveyor cooperating with a device for determining a quantity of food in the secondary conveyor and means for terminating the dispensing when a predetermined quantity of food is sensed. The secondary container may have an opening in its bottom and be movable laterally to align its opening with an opening in the freezer.

Abstract: A computer hardware system for editing a video signal includes, a first signal bus employing a first bus interface, and a second signal bus employing a second bus interface and adapted to carry at least one video signal. The system desirably further includes a general purpose computer connected to the first bus and operating according to a first operating system; and a video graphics computer connected to the first signal bus and the second signal bus. The video graphics computer operates according to a second operating system. The video graphics computer is adapted for editing the video signal transmitted along the second signal bus according to commands from the general purpose computer.
