Abstract: A method and apparatus for rapidly depositing feed for a large number of animals. The rapid feed dispenser can include a motorized vehicle having a bulk feed bin that can contain hundreds or thousands of pounds of feed, one or more augers that pre-load a feeding dose into a holding area, and a fast-acting valve that quickly dumps the feeding dose as a user drives past a feeding station. While driving from one feeding station to the next, the next feeding dose can be pre-loaded so that by the time the vehicle arrives at the next feeding station, the feeding dose will be loaded and ready to be quickly dumped.

Abstract: A plow has an upper blade. A lower forward-plowing blade is coupled to the upper blade. The lower forward-plowing blade is configured to engage material to be plowed when the plow is plowing in a forward direction. A back-blade is pivotally coupled to the upper blade and elastically coupled to the upper blade. The back-blade is configured to engage material to be plowed when the plow is plowing in a reverse direction opposite the forward direction.

Abstract: A filter for disinfecting non-potable water is disposed in-line in a water delivery pipe, such filter having a plurality of chambers. The first chamber contains biocidal resin which imparts a biocide residue to the water as it passes there-through to kill microorganisms. The water then passes through a turbulating disk to an extended contact time chamber of a selected volume to allow further contact time between the biocide residue and any microorganisms in the water. The water then passes through a 1-3 micron screen, which acts to retain protozoan cysts within the filter, and then passes through a biocide removal chamber containing medias which remove the biocide from the water. The water then passes through a chamber containing bacteriostatic media which acts to prevent back contamination from the effluent end of the filter.
