  • Publication number: 20200224869
Abstract: A rotary cascading bed combustion system for converting waste product into energy includes a rotary cascading bed combustor boiler including a rotating cylinder surrounding a combustion chamber; the rotating cylinder being structured and disposed for cascading the fuel to facilitate the mixing of air and solids, wherein the rotational speed of the rotating cylinder is selectively varied based on the amount of fuel, airflow and combustion properties; wherein combusting waste is mixed with sorbents and cycled through a plurality of combustion zones to produce controlled heat for generating steam; wherein the steam is routed to a turbine; and wherein if carbon burnout is not complete it will be recycled back into the combustion chamber.

  • Publication number: 20150040843
Abstract: A system for managing moisture content of hydrogen and oxygen gas produced by a fuel cell for a fuel supplement for an internal combustion engine, with a tank holding process water and respective separate hydrogen and oxygen header spaces for receiving hydrogen and oxygen gas having moisture content wherein some moisture content forms droplets and falls into the process water yielding dried hydrogen and oxygen gases for communicating through supply lines to the engine as a fuel supplement during operation. A method is disclosed for managing moisture content of hydrogen and oxygen gas produced by a fuel cell for delivery as a fuel supplement to an engine.

  • Publication number: 20150040844
Abstract: An apparatus that regulates a flow of hydrogen and oxygen generated by fuel cells as supplemental fuel for an internal combustion engine, in which a microprocessor controller receives engine operating parameters, determines a fuel demand for the engine responsive to the operating parameters, and regulates the supply of power to the fuel cells for generating the supplemental fuel. A supply body holds process water supplied to the fuel cells. The generated hydrogen and oxygen communicate to an intake manifold of the engine. A method of regulating the disbursement of hydrogen and oxygen for supplemental fuel for an engine is disclosed.

  • Patent number: 8882441
Abstract: A portable, selectively deployable power supply and storage arrangement includes a frame, a floor securable to the frame and having a longitudinally extending guide member provided thereon, a mast assembly having a first end pivotally connected to a tractor element slidable along the guide member and a second end opposite the first end, and a wind turbine receivable at the second end of the mast assembly. A support is pivotally connected to and extends between both the frame and a portion of the mast assembly so that, upon displacement of the tractor element along the guide member, the support produces movement of the mast assembly between retracted and deployed positions. To facilitate transportation and relocation of the power supply and storage arrangement, the frame, the floor, the mast assembly, the wind turbine, and the support are configured to define a single unit and are collectively receivable in a shipping container.
