Abstract: A audible alarm device (AAD) having: a housing extending axially upwardly and radially outwardly, and having an axial bottom portion and an axial top portion, the top portion having a smoke chamber defined by: a top surface that is planar and having a first diameter, a bottom surface separating the top portion from the bottom portion, the bottom surface being planar and having a second diameter that is larger than the first diameter, a side surface connecting the top and bottom surfaces, and a circumferential opening in the side surface providing fluid egress to the smoke chamber, a piezo sounder disposed in the smoke chamber, radially centered within the top portion and axially proximate the top surface of the top portion, the piezo sounder configured to direct sound to the bottom surface.

Abstract: Vial dosing systems and methods are disclosed. A vial dosing device includes a connecting body coupleable to a vial, a cannulated plunger having a proximal end coupled to the connecting body, a dose chamber adapted to slidably receive a distal end of the cannulated plunger and to expel medicament through a distal end of the dose chamber, and a plunger tip check valve coupled to the cannulated plunger and adapted for fluid flow from the cannulated plunger through the plunger tip check valve into the dose chamber.

Abstract: A pen needle includes a hub having a first opening at a first end and a second opening at a second end. A needle is connected to the hub and extends through the first opening at the first end. Access to the needle through the second opening is prevented by a sterility barrier, which has a movable portion that is moved along a longitudinal axis of the needle to provide access to the needle. A storage container includes a housing having a plurality of cavities to receive a plurality of pen needles. A cover is rotatably connected to the housing and is rotated such that an access portion thereof is aligned with one of the cavities, thereby providing access to the pen needle in the cavity.

Abstract: A shielded theft-resistant display case for displaying valuable merchandise during normal business hours and for shielding such merchandise out of view and storing such valuable merchandise in a secure and locked condition after business hours. The shielded theft-resistant display case includes a transparent top, a front panel, a pair of side panels, and a display shelf attached to the panels below the transparent top. A shield is pivotally mounted within the display case to cover and secure the display shelf. The shield is selectively pivotable into a first position in the housing such that items supported on the display shelf are displayed in the upper section of the housing. The shield is selectively pivotable into a second position in the housing such that items supported on the display shelf are hidden from view and fully secured with the display case.
