Publication number: 20230361668Abstract: A control method improves the efficiency profile of a power supply across a wide range of output loading. The method includes obtaining a measure of output power for a power supply, which includes one or more output modules and an auxiliary power supply. The method determines whether a maximum power rating of the auxiliary power supply is sufficient to provide the measure of output power. Responsive to a determination that the maximum power rating of the auxiliary power supply is sufficient to provide the measure of output power, the controller of the power supply directs the auxiliary power supply to provide the output power.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 17, 2023Publication date: November 9, 2023Inventors: Xiqun Zhu, Sung Kee Baek, Joel Goergen, Doug Paul Arduini, Ruqi Li

Patent number: 11391606Abstract: Fixtures for releasably holding a sensor having a first sensor portion and a second sensor portion, methods for making such fixtures, and methods for installing a sensor harness, are provided. In one example, a fixture includes a clip portion that is configured to hold a first sensor portion of a sensor. A support portion is coupled to and extends away from the clip portion. An arm portion is coupled to and extends away from the support portion. The arm portion is configured to hold a second sensor portion of the sensor. The fixture has a frangible seam formed therein that ruptures in response to an applied force for removing the fixture from the sensor.Type: GrantFiled: July 19, 2019Date of Patent: July 19, 2022Assignee: Gulfstream Aerospace CorporationInventors: Anthony Herchenroder, Doug Paul

Patent number: 11182549Abstract: Systems for identifying, tagging, modifying and reconciling information contained in a document are the subjects of the present disclosure. In one embodiment, the document may be linked to one or more source data formats, which are maintained as the document is modified by one or more users over time. The modifications are tracked and associated source data is updated to reflect those modifications. Clauses, terms and conditions may be revised and templates created based on revisions, and accessed by a user for subsequent use. Methods for selecting, modifying, reconciling and tracking a document, as well as presenting suggestions for a document are also disclosed.Type: GrantFiled: November 29, 2017Date of Patent: November 23, 2021Assignee: AppExtremes, LLCInventors: Bailey L Carlson, Christian J. King, Natasha Roloff, Doug Paul Rybacki, Jordan D. Pesusich

Patent number: 6255057Abstract: The present invention relates to determinable effects of ethanol exposure on the cellular localization and abundance of specific proteins, referred to herein as ethanol indicative proteins. More specifically, the present invention is based, in part, on the discovery that the catalytic C&agr; subunit of cAMP dependent protein kinase (PKA), which is normally localized in the Golgi apparatus area, appears to translocate to the nucleus upon exposure of a cell to ethanol. The present invention is further based on the observation that the &dgr;-subunit of PKC translocates from the Golgi area to the perinucleus and the nucleus in response to ethanol exposure, while the &egr;-subunit of PKC migrates from the perinucleus into the cytoplasm. The present invention further relates to the discovery that the detectable amount of the regulatory subunit RI of PKA decreases, while the detectable amount of &agr;PKC, &dgr;PKC and &egr;PKC increases upon exposure of a cell to ethanol.Type: GrantFiled: July 26, 1996Date of Patent: July 3, 2001Assignee: Ernest Gallo Clinic and Research CenterInventors: Adrienne Sue Gordon, Ivan Diamond, Doug Paul Dohrman
