    Abstract: A curtain rod apparatus includes a curtain rod having opposite ends. Each end can include a finial attachment mechanism. Each finial attachment mechanism can include at least one magnetic elopement of a finial attachment assembly positionable within the curtain rod that can be configured to facilitate attachment of a finial to the end of the curtain rod. In some embodiments, the assembly for each finial attachment mechanism can be configured so that no tools are needed beyond use of a user's hands to attach finials to the ends of the curtain rod.
