  • Patent number: 8849994
Abstract: Network monitoring method and apparatus determines the zero window event data transfer delay, reporting the amount of data transfer delay caused thereby. Non-data-transfer-delaying zero window events can be separated from those causing actual delay, allowing reporting of actual delay events separate from non-delay causing events.

  • Patent number: 8376878
Abstract: The present invention is directed to an iron-type golf club head with one or more passages travelling through a portion of the body. The passages may be accessible in the toe, heel, rear, or sole, or any combination thereof. The passages may be substantially vertical, substantially horizontal or a combination thereof. Weight inserts may be placed in one or more of the passages. In addition, one or more weight inserts may be coupled to the rear of the club head. The weight inserts may have varying densities. The present invention may also include a removable face insert. A plurality of weight inserts may be attached to the rear surface of the face insert.
    Type: Grant

Date of Patent: February 19, 2013
    Assignee: Acushnet Company
Inventors: Thomas O. Bennett, Doug Roberts
  • Patent number: 8374790
Abstract: A device for aligning a vehicle with a next pass through a field comprises a camera which takes a corresponding natural picture. A receiver is provided for receiving a navigational signal from a navigational satellite system. A central processing unit is connected to the camera for receiving the natural picture and the receiver for receiving the natural satellite signal. The CPU generates a master signal comprising a video signal of the navigational picture, an actual indicator signal representing the actual position of the vehicle, and a desired indicator signal representing the desired position of the vehicle. A display is connected to the CPU for receiving the master signal and generating a master image comprising a natural picture image, an actual indicator image, and a desired indicator image. The vehicle is driven to cause an alignment of the actual indicator image with the desired indicator image.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: October 30, 2009
Date of Patent: February 12, 2013
    Assignee: Teejet Technologies Illinois, LLC
Inventors: Richard D. Gould, Doug Roberts, Justin Whisinhunt, Grant J. Nelson
  • Publication number: 20120290264
Abstract: Data acquisition rates are dynamically adjusted in an APM system, by monitoring data acquisition hardware and reducing the data acquisition rate when a determination is made that the data rate is too high for processing by an APM.
    Type: Application

  • Publication number: 20120287814
Abstract: Network monitoring method and apparatus determines the amount of data outstanding throughout the life of a TCP flow (socket connection). Observing network traffic, calculation of the outstanding data is made, providing information useful for network performance analysis and troubleshooting.

  • Patent number: 7958190
Abstract: End-user response time in a network is determined by an analyzer which measures client data transfer time, server response time, server data transfer time and, if the protocol is a TCP protocol, further measuring server network round trip time. End-user response time may be approximated by the sum of these determined times.
