  • Patent number: 11468067
Abstract: A recommender system includes an information storage and a recommender. The recommender configures the information storage according to a recommender data structure. The data structure includes multiple nodes, each including an inquiry hook and an option hook connected to each other. The inquiry hook includes an inquiry text corresponding to a user inquiry. In the data structure, a first node is associated with one or more child nodes, wherein the user inquiry text of the first node has one or more option values, each option value is included respectively in the option hook of the child nodes. The inquiry hook of at least one of the multiple nodes includes an end point hook, which corresponds to one or more of the following recommendation actions: recommending a carrier, manual submission, and declining coverage. The recommender system may traverse the recommender data structure to retrieve recommendation action(s) to the user.

  • Patent number: 11352829
Abstract: A window assembly for installing in a window framing (also referred to as a “window casing”) of a wall of a building. The window assembly is configured to have a frameless appearance when installed with the finish surround installed around the interior and/or exterior of the window. The window assembly also allows the glass panel to be removed with a minimum of removal of the finish surround, such as without removing any of the finish surround, or only removing the finish surround around several sides of the only one of the interior or exterior of the window. For example, in most cases, only the interior finish surround around the right side and left side of the installed window frame needs to be removed to remove and replace the glass panel. Furthermore, the window assembly includes an integrated drain for draining moisture which leaks into the window assembly.

  • Publication number: 20220136185
Abstract: A modular system of light strips is configured for use on a roadway surface. The light strips are configured to withstand vehicular traffic, such as passenger cars, trucks, and even heavy equipment such as found in a construction zone. The light strips have a rigid, durable housing that protects a series of LEDs within the housing. The LEDs are preferably positioned fully within the housing, with lenses directing light from the LEDs through the sidewall of the housing and toward vehicular traffic on the roadway. The channel is filled with a protective material, such as a polymer resin, for example a polyurethane resin, that serves to protect the LEDs and power supply running within the channel. The modular system can be provided with a power source, such as solar panels, or alternatively configured for connection to a power grid.

  • Patent number: 10950966
Abstract: A stab (pin and sleeve) electrical connector with improved safety is described. The female (sleeve) connector exterior surface is coated or made from with a nonconductive insulating material. A pressure loaded insulator plug is disposed inside the female sleeve. An electrical connection is made when the male (pin) connector is inserted into the female sleeve. The male pin contacts the insulator plug inside the female sleeve, causing compression, and makes electrical contact with the uninsulated inside of the sleeve. As the male pin is removed, the pressure mechanism of the insulator plug pushes the plug out flush with the external insulated surface making the female sleeve touch safe. Therefore, embodiments provide a high level of safety for the pin and sleeve electrical connection method without adding large or troublesome moving parts.
