    Abstract: Compliance auditing and management is provided by defining business or enterprise assets, comprising receiving, from the business or enterprise variables that meet business needs of the business or enterprise as a user. Users, locations and audit templates are added. Questions to be provided to the user are entered and compliance criteria used in answering the questions and associating the compliance criteria with the questions are added. Compliance activity information from the user is received and the compliance activity information from the user to the questions is applied. Compliance activity for the user to generate a database of deployed compliance activities is scheduled and the database of deployed compliance activities is used to conduct compliance activity. The database of deployed compliance activities or the conducted compliance activity is used to generate files and incidents. The database of deployed compliance activities is used to generate compliance activity reporting.

    Abstract: An apparatus for assisting a user in scheduling a plurality of facilities for a survey includes: a storage device having a first database of entries representing facilities, geographical locations of facilities, and data representing ranking factors; a second database representing surveyors; a computer processor configured to estimate the time it would take for each of the facilities to be surveyed and to calculate a ranking for each of the facilities formed from ranking factors and to select a subset of facilities based on the ranking; a display unit capable of representing the subset; and, a human-machine interface configured with the processor to enable the user to select at least a facility from a subset and add it to a tour list and to schedule an order in which the facilities in the tour list will be visited by a surveyor from the second database. Related methods and systems are also described.

    Abstract: A system and method is provided for offering network-based evaluation, assessment and certification which can be utilized at great distances. The system allows for setting specific criteria for any given discipline, and allows participants to evaluate their own performance against any given applicable set of standards and independent third-party validation of performance by conducting an on-site survey using the same system. Individuals can evaluate their own competencies, compliance against the given criteria in the learning experience asynchronously, thereby taking advantage of diverse schedules. The standards can be set and administered either by a nation-state, professional society, or international or national standards setting organization. Thus, the present invention maybe utilized by educational organizations, accreditation organizations, nation-states, government agencies/ministries, professional societies, or international or national standards setting organizations.
