  • Publication number: 20240047832
Abstract: Embodiments described herein relate to electrochemical cells and multicells. A multicell can include a cell packaging that includes two or more electrochemical cells connected in series internal to the cell packaging. In some aspects, an apparatus includes a plurality of electrochemical cell stacks each including a plurality of electrochemical cells connected in series, a first electrically conductive plate including a first section and a second section, and a second electrically conductive plate. The first section of the first electrically conductive plate is in contact with a first terminal end of a first electrochemical cell stack from the plurality of electrochemical cell stacks. The second section of the first electrically conductive plate is in contact with a first terminal end of a second electrochemical cell stack from the plurality of electrochemical cell stacks.

  • Patent number: 11809582
Abstract: The present innovative solution solves the problem of managing secure documents so that they can be verified, and protected from tampering and illegal printing. A legal document is converted to a secure document by embedding into the legal document one or more security codes that have been encrypted with a standard of proprietary cryptographic algorithm. The security codes are supplemented by a QR code associated with the archive location of each page of the secure document, and stored at a server or database. The security codes stored in the document and can be printed together with the document, as a form of watermark, using UV-sensitive ink or toner at a security printer. The security codes are encrypted and can be printed on varying locations in the secure document pages, which are defined in a geolocation template, separately transmitted in encrypted format.

  • Patent number: 5375425
Abstract: Removal of refrigerant from a closed refrigeration system is achieved without pumping by developing a deep (e.g. 10 to 20 inches of mercury) partial vacuum in a collection vessel by reducing the temperature thereof. The partial vacuum is self-sustaining through the condensation and solidification of collected fluid at cryogenic temperatures and the reduction of vapor pressures thereof. The cryogenic material is preferably applied to the collection vessel by means of a bucket-shaped foam core in which the collection vessel is placed. Grooves formed on the interior of the core provide spacing and frictional engagement with the collection vessel while forming voids for maintaining a cryogenic material in contact with the collection vessel. The safety of a collection system employing the invention is enhanced since the amount of fluid collected can be regulated by the amount of cryogenic material used to condense and solidify the fluid.

  • Patent number: 5333461
Abstract: A collection vessel and method of collecting gaseous and liquid phase collectible materials utilizes introduction of the collectible material directly into a liquid cryogenic material to provide complete condensation and a liquid-filled trap for collected gases within the liquid cryogenic material. This trap effectively eliminates escape of collected gases even though evaporated cryogenic materials may be vented and the collection vessel operated at atmospheric pressure. The performance of the vessel is thus improved and no freezing of the collected gases occurs at the inlet due to the warming of the inlet structure by the material being collected. Therefore, the collection of gases may be done at high speed and with simplified equipment. Completeness of condensation is assured by the use of a baffle of a preferably collapsible construction for retaining gases within the liquid cryogenic material until condensation is complete.
