  • Patent number: 11253722
Abstract: Photobiomedulation therapy (PBMT) can be applied to the eye to treat optical neuritis, a sign of multiple sclerosis (MS). The light of PBMT can be directed into the eye, regardless of the position of the eye, by a device that includes an array of light delivery devices and a heat sink lens. The device can be placed proximal to the eye to direct the light into the eye. The light can have one or more wavelengths from 400-1100 nm and can be applied in at least one of a pulsed operating mode, a continuous operating mode, and a super-pulsed operating mode through the light source device to the skeletal muscle. The light signal is applied for a time sufficient to stimulate a phototherapeutic response in the retina and/or the optic nerve. PBMT applied in this manner provides a noninvasive, safe and effective treatment for optic neuritis.

  • Patent number: 11047481
Abstract: A seal assembly of a rotary includes a radially oriented plate that axially opposes a front and rear support plates of a stator interface. The seal assembly also includes a film-riding shoe coupled with the radially oriented plate. The shoe forms a shoe fluid bearing between the shoe and a rotating component responsive to rotation of the rotating component and pressurization of fluid in the rotary machine upstream of the stator interface. One or more of the stator interface or the film-riding shoe includes one or more ports or pathways through which higher-pressure fluid upstream of the stator housing in the rotary machine flows to form an aft axial fluid bearing between the radially oriented plate and the rear support plate of the stator interface.

  • Patent number: 10993884
Abstract: An expandable container system including a container, an expandable nipple and a one-way valve. The expandable nipple is attached to the first end of the container and the valve is attached to a second end of the container. A counteracting bias force is generated within the container and a first fluid is drawn in through the valve by extending the expandable nipple. When the expandable nipple is released, the expandable nipple is biased back to an unextended state, and an increase in pressure created by the counteracting bias force induces a second fluid to flow out of an outlet in the expandable nipple.

A set of test parameters are received comprising parameters for a conformance test, the test parameters including a vibrational sensor parameter, a temperature sensor parameter, and a rotational speed parameter. A motor under test is placed in an on-state and a processing device receives sensor data simultaneously from the sensors, determines that the rotational speed satisfies the rotational speed parameter, and stores time sampled sensor data received from the plurality of sensors relative to a time zero corresponding to a time when the rotational speed satisfies the rotational speed.
