  • Publication number: 20240009338
Abstract: Fragrance dispenser systems are disclosed. The system can include a flameless candle, such as an LED candle, and a base. The base can be configured to receive and support the flameless candle. The base can include a fan unit and a fragrance cartridge. The fan unit can blow air over the fragrance cartridge. The fragranced air can be discharged from the base into the ambient environment.

  • Patent number: 11209141
Abstract: A simulated flame and wick device for use with a flameless candle and other devices requiring the appearance of a natural flame. A flame shaped housing, comprising an upper and lower cover, contains a flexible LED filament bulb, with the positive and negative leads passing through dedicated channels within a housing designed to have the appearance of a candle wick. The combination of the material used for the wick housing along with the positive and negative leads from the flexible LED filament bulb are designed to provide strength and flexibility to the wick component. In turn these leads pass through a positioning housing to orient the simulated flame and wick correctly when used with flameless candles and other devices. The simulated flame and wick along with the other components described are contained within the internal housing of a simulated candle shell or other appropriate device, thus simulating the appearance of a flame burning atop a blackened wick.

  • Publication number: 20120183280
Abstract: An electrically powered device for emitting light and for also producing and releasing fragrances or other vaporizing agents into the surrounding environment through the combined use of a heating element and a polymeric disk that is impregnated with vaporizing agents, at least a portion of which are released into the air upon the application of heat to said disk. In the preferred embodiment of the invention, the heating element and light sources are contained within a base unit that is positioned at a lower portion of the device. The disk, which is formed and shaped so as to optimize exposed surface area, rests on an upper surface of the heating element during operation of the device. The fragrance disk is intended to be removed from the device after a substantial portion of the vaporizing agents impregnated therein are released into the air, allowing for its replacement with another disk.

  • Publication number: 20110204828
Abstract: A light assembly is provided with a housing with a first locking configuration. A light source is provided on the housing. A power source is provided on the housing for powering the light source. An interchangeable exterior shroud is sized to receive the housing and has a second locking configuration for locking the shroud to the housing such that the shroud provides an ornamental appearance of an exterior of a wax candle, and the light source provides an appearance of a flame.

  • Patent number: 5701904
Abstract: The invention concerns a portable medical diagnostic apparatus which includes three types of data-gathering instruments: (1) visual instruments (eg, otoscope, ophthalmoscope, rhino-laryngoscope, macro lens and fundus camera); (2) an audio instrument (eg, electronic stethoscope); and (3) data-gathering instruments (eg, pulse oximeter and ECG monitor). A video camera generates signals, based on images taken from the visual instruments. Other electronic circuitry generates signals based on output of the audio instrument and data-gathering instruments. The signals are transmitted to a remote site for analysis by medical personnel.
