  • Patent number: 7059008
Abstract: Disclosed is a brush for cleaning toilet bowls and the like. The brush has a permanent handle and can be used with a replaceable/disposable brush head that is flushable after use. The brush is a stack of sheets of water-dissolvable material. The sheets are compressed to both bind them together into a stack. There is a longitudinal slit in the rear of the brush head to create left and right rear attachment tabs. A wand provides a remote system for clamping and unclamping the brush head. • Publication number: 20050208447
Abstract: A candle assembly is disclosed including a melting plate and a fuel element. The melting plate includes a bottom wall and a capillary lobe having a peaked apex protruding upwardly therefrom. The fuel element includes a bottom surface having a depression therein for receiving the peaked apex. The peaked apex may take many forms, such as hemispherical, conical, egg shaped, pyramidal, etc., and may have a pointed apex or a rounded apex. The depression in the fuel element may be complementary to the capillary lobe such that a capillary space is disposed therebetween and a portion of the bottom surface of the fuel element is in thermal communication with a portion of the bottom wall surrounding the capillary lobe.

  • Publication number: 20050039293
Abstract: A dispenser includes a cradle (2) including generally upright sidewalls (4, 6), a handle (40) having a top and a bottom, and a plurality of sheets (30) releasably attached to the bottom of the handle (40), such that the plurality of sheets (30) faces the cradle (2). The cradle (2) can house a reservoir (14) containing a liquid product. The handle (40) is positioned by the upright sidewalls (4, 6) of the cradle (2) and is supported by the cradle (2). The liquid product can be dispensed from the reservoir (14) onto the surface of the outermost sheet (50) of the plurality of sheets (30). That sheet (50) then can be used to apply the liquid product to a surface, and can be removed and discarded after use, revealing a fresh sheet.

  • Publication number: 20040188539
Abstract: A trigger actuated aerosol spray cleaning device is disclosed that has a removable snap-on cleaning head. The cleaning head can be snapped onto a handle by simple linear movement, and then can be removed by sliding a button. In one form, there is a lower connector on a mop handle that has two pivot pins biased apart by a spring. The pins have cammed ends that can be driven in towards each other as the mop handle is pressed against a receiver portion of the cleaning head. The cleaning head can then be removed by sliding a button connected to one of the pins to dislodge that pin from its pivot mount.

  • Publication number: 20040182952
Abstract: A trigger actuated aerosol spray cleaning device has a cleaning head that swivel or be locked in different preset discrete angular positions relative to the device. The cleaning head pivotally mounts onto a swivel part of a coupler at and end of the device. In one position, a sliding swivel lock permits rotation of the swivel and in a locking position it prevents relative rotation by engaging one of several slots in the swivel. The slots are located so that the cleaning head can be centered (perpendicular) relative to the device or held at an oblique angle as may be desired for cleaning corners or other tight spaces.

  • Patent number: 6663838
Abstract: A heated volatile dispenser and a volatile carrier for use therewith are disclosed. The volatile dispenser has a closed heating chamber having ceiling and exit vents. A fuel burner is contained within the heating chamber, and a carrier holder is positioned over the fuel burner. The carrier holder holds a volatile carrier in a location above the fuel burner such that hot gases from the fuel burner pass the carrier holder and directly heat a volatile carrier held thereby. The volatile carrier may be held in an edge-on orientation with respect to the flow of hot gases, or transversely with respect to them. The volatile carrier has an inward end that has a cross-sectional profile made to be complementary to that of an insert slot through which the volatile carrier must be inserted for use. An alternative embodiment is shown that uses a candle as a fuel burner.

  • Patent number: 6482365
Abstract: A lamp dispenses a volatile material, such as an insecticide, from a burnable coil. There is a flame source mounted on a base, a chimney, a coil support, and a burnable coil supported on the coil support above the flame. The flame provides light, heats the coil to some extent, and provides convection for dispersal of the volatile. A kit for replacing the candle and coil consumed during use is also disclosed, as are methods of use of such lamps.

  • Patent number: 6442804
Abstract: A reclosable fastener assembly includes first and second elongated closure elements that are engageable to form a seal. A slider is slidable relative to the closure elements between an open position and a closed position and is adapted (i) to engage the closure elements to one another when moved across the closure elements toward the closed position and (ii) to disengage the closure elements from one another when moved across the closure elements toward the open position. The slider carries a first partial indicator. A second partial indicator is located relative to the closure elements so as to complement the first partial indicator to form a visual indicator when the slider is in the closed position.

  • Patent number: 6406673
Abstract: A combination lamp and volatile dispenser provides light and dispenses a volatile material such as an insecticide from a burnable coil. There is a burn vessel, a flame source and a chimney. The burn vessel houses the coil, has openings allowing air to pass through the burn vessel, and supports the chimney and flame source. The arrangement allows volatiles released from the burning coil in the vessel to be drawn to the outside air through the chimney. A kit for replacing the candle and coil consumed during use is also disclosed, as are methods of use of such lamps.
