  • Publication number: 20220410947
Abstract: Embodiments relate to a one-piece, integrally formed universal backing ring comprising an integrally formed, one piece annular structure having a center opening configured to be translated over a journal of a railcar axle and engage a dust guard and a dust guard fillet of the railcar axle. The annular structure includes an inner contoured surface having a profile that is contoured for a tight surface fit with a complementary surface of the dust guard fillet. The annular structure also includes a dust guard lip which projects over the dust guard fillet and engages the dust guard. The dust guard lip has a length extending generally parallel with an axis of the annular structure, and is configured to provide a mechanical interference fit of the dust guard lip with the dust guard of 0.052-0.1875 inches with a maximum diameter of the dust guard for each Class of railcar axle.

  • Publication number: 20210268144
Abstract: Disclosed herein are safe and effective ways to perform dermal filling procedures. Specifically, the present disclosure relates to agarose-based dermal fillers with advanced rheological properties which are easier to inject and disperse compared to HA based dermal fillers. The present disclosure further relates to the methods and kits to provide additional safety advantages over other injectables, as the agarose-based dermal fillers can be dispersed quickly to prevent injury to a patient.

  • Publication number: 20110052506
Abstract: Described herein are compositions useful in the treatment of atopic dermatitis and other skin conditions, which compositions exhibit enhanced stability. The compositions contain a hypochlorite salt, useful for its antimicrobial properties, and are non-irritating when applied to the skin. The compositions also provide enhanced moisturizing properties. The compositions can be formulated into a topical aerosol foam with inert, non-flammable propellants, such as hydrofluoroalkanes, and may be used in cosmetics or pharmaceuticals.

  • Publication number: 20060228682
Abstract: The invention refers to modular components to be used in the construction of molecular models representing protein structures. More specifically, the invention discloses components representing parts of the protein which do not form elements of secondary structure and parts of elements of secondary structure, as well as their connections, to build models representing the fold of any protein structure, or even models which are proportional to their real size by establishing a given scale. Said models are useful for teaching purposes and for visualizing protein structure during research work in the field.
