Abstract: A method is disclosed for automatically processing Advanced Ship Notices (ASNs). In one embodiment, the method receives a first set of data associated with an ASN. The method further compares one or more data fields included in the first set of data with a second set of data associated with a Purchase Order (PO). In addition, the method determines a status associated with a shipment of items based on the comparison.

Abstract: A system for negotiating a contract may include one or more computer assemblies configured to run a contract negotiation tool program. The contract negotiation tool program may include an analysis section including potential contract terms, and contract term data corresponding to the potential contract terms. The contract negotiation tool program may display the contract term data of selected potential contract terms in the analysis section. The displayed contract term data may include assessments of the selected potential contract terms, providing an indication of whether further negotiation is required.

Abstract: A system and method are disclosed that provide for processing dealer returns. The system and method include receiving a list of parts from a dealer, wherein the list of parts includes at least one part the dealer seeks to return to a supplier of the part, and determining a return recommendation for each part included in the list of parts, wherein the return recommendation includes a suggested disposition for the part. The system and method further includes providing the return recommendation to the dealer and receiving a response to the return recommendation from the dealer. In addition, the system and method includes providing a return authorization to the dealer based on the return recommendation and the dealer response, wherein the return authorization includes an authorized disposition for each part on the list of parts.

Abstract: A system for appraising risk in a facility may include a computer assembly. The system may also include an appraisal tool program having a summary section and facility process sections. The appraisal tool program may be configured to receive input values in the facility process sections. The input values may be indicative of risks associated with facility process practices. The appraisal tool program may also be configured to calculate an overall risk for the facility process sections based on the input values, and display the overall risk in the summary section.

Abstract: A method improves inventory records at a facility. The method includes the steps of assessing a plurality of current inventory records at the facility, responsively identifying at least one discrepancy in the current inventory records. resolving the at least one discrepancy, identifying at least one deficiency in the current inventory records which resulted in the at least one discrepancy, and establishing a plan to correct the at least one deficiency. The plan includes specific changes to current inventory practices.
