Patent number: 8950019Abstract: A lavatory system is disclosed including one or more integrated hand washing stations. Each hand washing station includes a basin, a faucet, a solenoid valve configured to control water flow to the faucet, and an electric hand dryer located adjacent the basin and the faucet so that the user of the washing station may use the faucet and the electric hand dryer without leaving the washing station. The electric hand dryer preferably includes an outlet to direct air across the associated basin so that any water that drips from the user's hands fall within the basin. A control system may be provided to control activation of the fixtures such as the solenoid valve, the electric hand dryer, and/or soap dispenser. The control system may be configured to inhibit simultaneous activation of the solenoid valve and the hand dryer. A photovoltaic system may be provided to provide power.Type: GrantFiled: October 12, 2012Date of Patent: February 10, 2015Assignee: Bradley Fixtures CorporationInventors: John M. Loberger, Jason M. Renner, Jeffery S. Jaworski, Mark A. Thielke, Mark A. Meyer, Kevin M. Kohlwey, Douglas Carpiaux, Daniel J. De Lay, Glenn T. Walters, Richard Walters, Jon W. Hauser, II

Patent number: 8740166Abstract: A support device including a keyboard platform and a bracket for mounting the keyboard platform a work surface to elevate the keyboard platform above the work surface. The keyboard platform is mounted on the bracket for sliding movement relative to an edge of the work surface along a horizontal fore-aft axis. The keyboard platform is mounted on the bracket for tilting movement about a tilting axis perpendicular to the fore-aft axis. The support device includes a lock movable between a locked position wherein sliding/tilting movement of the keyboard platform is prevented and an unlocked position wherein sliding/tilting movement of the keyboard platform is permitted. One aspect includes a clamp provided on the bracket and engageable with the work surface to elevate the keyboard platform above the work surface. One aspect provides a mouse platform pivotally attached to the keyboard platform and configured to support the mouse at a tilted position.Type: GrantFiled: February 17, 2011Date of Patent: June 3, 2014Assignee: Fellowes, Inc.Inventors: Larry Hamilton, Taiwon Choi, Michael Jensen, ChunSheng Li, Douglas Carpiaux, Adam Shileny, Heidi Anna Dondlinger, Martin Behling, II

Publication number: 20050165323Abstract: Preferred embodiments of the invention employ a portable and wearable EEG monitoring device having a patient-worn amplifier releasably coupled to a host computer for transmitting EEG signals. When patient disconnection from the host computer is desired, a portable operations device (POD) can be connected to the amplifier. Preferably upon detecting disconnection, a controller causes new EEG signals to be routed to a removable memory or transmitter peripheral card, enabling seamless data acquisition. Upon detecting reconnection between the amplifier and the host computer, the controller causes new EEG signals to be routed to the host computer. The controller also preferably transmits EEG signals stored on the peripheral memory card (if used) to the host computer. Preferred embodiments include a handheld display apparatus for viewing EEG signals and electrode information. Also, preferred embodiments reduce patient tethers by connecting multiple amplifiers in a daisy-chain format (most preferably on a PAN bus).Type: ApplicationFiled: May 19, 2004Publication date: July 28, 2005Inventors: Anthony Montgomery, Jason Bold, Douglas Carpiaux, Ming Chang, Douglas Code, Ernest Jacobs, Scott Micoley, Jeffrey Milsap, Peter Montgomery, Robert Palmer, Daniel Strelow, Jeffrey Wierschke, Elaine Jamieson

Publication number: 20040035867Abstract: A container includes a bowl, a lid for the bowl, and a cup that is detachably securable to the underside of the lid. When the lid is positioned so as to cover the bowl, the cup is securable within the interior of the bowl, and when the lid is placed underneath the bowl, the bowl is supported at a height above at least a portion of the lid such that an air pocket is defined between the bowl and that portion of the lid. When the container is heated in a microwave, for example, the air pocket heats up to keep the contents of the container warm.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 26, 2003Publication date: February 26, 2004Applicant: S.C.
