    Abstract: An electrophoresis apparatus is disclosed. A first vertical support plate is attached to a base and contains grooves at its upper end. A second vertical support plate is spaced from the first plate by a spacer. The apparatus contains means for passing an electric current through a polymerized gel that may be formed in the space between the first vertical plate and the second vertical plate.
