Abstract: The present invention is directed to an expandable writing panel system for a vehicle, the system including a writing panel and a support leg wherein the support leg upper edge is hingedly attached to the writing panel. The expandable writing panel system also includes writing panel guide tracks and support leg guide tracks adjacent to the writing panel guide tracks. When in an unextended state, the writing panel fits within the console body and is configured adjacent to the support leg and both are generally vertical and, in an extended state, the writing panel guide tracks divert the lower edge of the writing panel away from the lower edge of the support leg and the writing panel into an angled orientation.

Abstract: An adjustable vehicle seat assembly has an adjustable seat cushion and a foldable seat back. The adjustable vehicle seat assembly is pivotally mounted on the vehicle for rotation from an extended passenger carrying position to a storage position behind the passenger carrying position. The seat cushion is slidably mounted on a rail assembly having a pivotal connection to the vehicle at a position behind the passenger carrying position and a latch located at the forward portion of the seat cushion whereby the seat adjusting assembly is rotated with the folded seat cushion and seat back into the storage position after release of the latch.

Abstract: A supplemental, sun visor manipulated sun shield concept which provides a barrier to the passage of sun through a sunlight exposure zone provided by a sun visor and which may be a) adjacent to a mounting detent carried by the sun visor and/or b) adjacent to the sun visor and located between the vehicle headliner and a rear view mirror and method of operation and deployment of this supplemental sun shield.
