Abstract: The present invention provides a secure personal information and notification network for electronic health records systems. A client's personal health record may be entered into a secure database and updated in a number of different ways. Information required to identify the client and access the personal health record is carried on or near the client. Upon finding the information required to identify the client, authorized personnel may access the personal health records during an emergency. In addition, a predetermined individual or individuals will receive automated notification of a client emergency.
