  • Publication number: 20240081207
Abstract: An aeroponic grow tower is provided. The tower includes a modular wall system located between a cover and a base. The wall system includes a plurality of individual flat, four-sided wall panels. The identical wall panels are removably connected along their side edges into one or more levels having a polygonal shape. Levels are aligned and stack atop the base and each other. The wall panels have openings defining grow sites configured to support plants such that foliage extends to the outside and roots hang inside the tower. A pump delivers nutrient solution from the base to a high-rotational speed spray nozzle which aerosolizes the solution. The spray also impacts the interior surface further aerosolizing the solution. Channels direct solution running down the interior surface to the grow sites which include secondary reservoirs to provide a further source of nutrient solution in extreme temperatures and reduce power usage. • Patent number: 11822418
Abstract: Methods and systems for power management are disclosed. The disclosed methods and system for power management may reduce the likelihood of a data processing system failing to meet power budget or other types of goals regarding power consumption, use, and/or provisioning. To reduce the likelihood of the data processing system failing to meet power related goals, the data processing system may include two power managers. An integrated power manager may manage power consumption based on a current-based, fast changing representation of the quantity of power being supplied by the power supplies. In contrast, a system power manager may manage power consumption based on digital representations of the power supplied by the power supplies, which may refresh the digital representations less quickly than the rate at which the analog current based representation is refreshed.

  • Publication number: 20230333612
Abstract: Methods and systems for thermal management are disclosed. The thermal management method and systems may reduce the likelihood of a data processing system exceeding thermal limits even in cases of highly customizable and modifiable data processing system. To reduce the likelihood of the data processing system failing to meet thermal limits, the data processing system may implement a distributed thermal management system. The distributed thermal management system may include multiple components that are responsible for granular and/or global thermal management of the data processing system.

  • Publication number: 20230315183
Abstract: A power management system includes a power infrastructure having power infrastructure components that couple computing devices to power source(s), and a power management subsystem coupled to the computing devices. The power management subsystem identifies power requirement information for each of the computing devices and power transmission limitation information for the power infrastructure components, and determines a power infrastructure architecture that identifies how the power infrastructure components couple the computing devices to the power source(s). The power management subsystem then uses the power requirement information, the power transmission limitation information, and the power infrastructure architecture to generate and provide a respective input current limit to each of the computing devices.

  • Publication number: 20230195205
Abstract: Methods and systems for power management are disclosed. The disclosed power management method and systems may improve the likelihood of data processing systems providing desired computer implemented services while meeting power budget goals and/or other types of goals regarding power consumption, use, and/or provisioning. To improve the likelihood of the power budgets being met, the system may dynamically update power allocations to various components of data processing systems. The power allocations may be dynamically allocated by predicting how changes in existing power allocations may impact the ability of the data processing system to service power allocation requests. If it appears that changes in one or more existing power allocations may allow a power allocation request to be serviced, then the power allocations may be dynamically reallocated to free allocable power. The freed allocable power may be used to service the power allocation.

  • Publication number: 20220307588
Abstract: The invention is a shift lockout guide for a vehicle equipped with a manual gearbox. It includes a user-operable means that, in preferred embodiments, is mounted to the shifter of the gear box and is linked to an engagement portion that interacts with guide plates defining a path of travel for the shifter. A biasing means urges the engagement portion into the guide plates but this can be overridden by the driver through the user-operable means. The invention provides the driver of a vehicle fitted with the invention in the selection of specific gears while also preventing certain other gears from being selected. This reduces the risk of inadvertent overrevving of the vehicle's engine through inappropriate gear selection.

  • Publication number: 20220307688
Abstract: A thermal oxidizer employing an oxidation mixer, an oxidation chamber, a retention chamber and a heat dissipater forming a fluid flow path for thermal oxidation of a waste gas. In operation, the oxidation mixer facilitates a combustible mixture of the waste gas and an oxidant into an combustible waste gas stream, the oxidation chamber facilitates a primary combustion reaction of the combustible waste gas stream into an oxygenated waste gas stream, the retention chamber facilitates a secondary combustion reaction of the oxygenated waste gas stream into oxidized gases and the heat dissipator reduces the temperature of the flow of oxidized gases within the heat dissipator, which is communicated to a greenhouse gas processor that extracts greenhouse gas(es) from the vaporized oxidized gases. The greenhouse gas processor may condensate the greenhouse gas(es), acid neutralize the condensation of the greenhouse gas(es), and capture the acid neutralization of the condensation of the greenhouse gas(es).
