  • Patent number: 10479038
Abstract: A juicer cartridge includes a liquid impermeable compartment at least partially surrounding food matter. An information region may be disposed on the liquid impermeable compartment, wherein the information region includes information for controlling at least one pressing parameter for pressing the juicer cartridge, such as a desired pressing speed, force profile, pressing temperature, total pressing stroke, number of pauses, number of press and/or retract cycles, and a distance of a press and/or retract cycle. The juicer cartridge may be used by placing it in the pressing chamber of a juicer that reads information from the information region and presses the juicer cartridge using the information.

  • Publication number: 20190339655
Abstract: A computer-implemented method for adjusting voltage settings, according to one embodiment, includes: determining a number of components electrically coupled to an output of a voltage regulator; determining voltage tolerance information corresponding to each of the number of components; determining a voltage tolerance limit of the voltage regulator; using the determined voltage tolerance information in combination with the voltage tolerance limit of the voltage regulator to determine whether an output voltage of the voltage regulator can be reduced; calculating an amount by which to reduce an output voltage of the voltage regulator in response to determining that the output voltage of the voltage regulator can be reduced; and sending one or more instructions to the voltage regulator to reduce the output voltage of the voltage regulator by the calculated amount.

  • Publication number: 20190339992
Abstract: A computer-implemented method, according to one embodiment, includes: monitoring one or more types of system performance data, determining whether a current value corresponding to each of the types of system performance data is outside a respective predefined range, sending instructions to make adjustments to settings of a voltage regulator in response to determining that a current value corresponding to one of the types of system performance data is outside a respective predefined range, and performing an iterative process. The iterative process includes: determining whether an updated value corresponding to the one of the types of system performance data is outside the respective predefined range, and sending instructions to make additional adjustments to the settings of the voltage regulator in response to determining that the updated value corresponding to the one of the types of system performance data is outside the respective predefined range.

  • Publication number: 20190080128
Abstract: A distributed system uniquely tracks individual consumable items within a stream of commerce and tracks ingredients used in consumable items. The distributed system further provided tracks the sale of the consumable items to the consumer. A point-of-consumption system (e.g., juicer) is used to allow consumer access to the consumable item and the distributed system controls the point-of-consumption system to control access to the consumable item, including blocking use or providing an alert when a consumable item should not be consumed due to recall, expiry, allergy, or other reason.

  • Publication number: 20190050560
Abstract: The techniques described herein enable client APIs to be deployed within isolated computing environments while externally exposing and/or maintaining a log of computing events that the client APIs perform and/or attempt to perform within the isolated computing environments. Generally described, configurations disclosed herein enable audit parameters associated with client application programming interfaces (APIs) to be deployed within an isolated computing environment to generate a log of computing events performed by the client APIs. Ultimately, access to the log of computing events is provided externally to the isolated computing environment without exposing sensitive computing resources (e.g., a host operating system (OS)) to the various client APIs.
