  • Publication number: 20070286394
Abstract: A monitoring tool for use with one or more automatic call distributors (ACD) which automatically and continuously polls or queries the ACDs to monitor not only alarm conditions but other conditions, such as agent staffing levels, call answering time, call routing and traffic conditions. Such continuous and automatic monitoring and querying of the ACD in accordance with the present invention is thus able to improve the overall efficiency of such ACDs by improving the service response time of such ACDs. In accordance with one aspect of the invention, the status records of the ACDs maybe directed to a website, for example, on an enterprise Intranet website to enable any of the company representatives with access rights to access the performance of the ACD network from any location. Other data, such as the trunk inventory record keeping system (TIRKS) may also be displayed on the website to facilitate troubleshooting of alarm conditions.

  • Publication number: 20070007807
Abstract: A seat includes a base portion and an upright portion pivotable with respect to the base portion. The seat includes a reclining mechanism that includes first and second toothed members that are selectively engaged and disengaged to resist and permit, respectively, the angle of the upright portion with respect to the base portion. The first and second toothed members are engaged and disengaged through rotation of a cam mechanism. The seat also includes a bottom seat cushion height adjustment mechanism that permits raising and lowering of the bottom seat cushion with respect to a base portion of the frame. The bottom seat cushion height adjustment mechanism includes a slidable member that is slidable with respect to the base frame, and a plurality of cams that convert linear motion of the slidable member into vertical movement of the bottom seat cushion.

  • Publication number: 20070007790
Abstract: A suspension system for an “All Belts To Seat” or “ABTS” style seat is provided that includes a floor bracket, seat bracket, and an equalizing bracket. Means for allowing motion between the seat bracket and floor bracket is provided by a set of cams. The equalizing bracket connects the cams and ensures synchronized rotation. The height of the seat bracket is adjustable with respect to the floor bracket by means of an air spring, and motion between the two brackets is dampened by an interconnected shock absorber.

  • Publication number: 20050109913
Abstract: A suspension system for a seat. The suspension system includes a first frame member, a second frame member connectable to the seat and movably coupled to the first frame member, a suspension member coupled to both the first frame member and the second frame member and suspending the second frame member above the first frame member, an adjustment mechanism coupled to the suspension member and manually manipulatable by an operator to adjust the stiffness of the suspension, a handle movable along a portion of the adjustment mechanism and facilitating manual manipulation of the adjustment mechanism, and an engaging member resiliently resisting movement of the handle under its own weight along the portion of the adjustment mechanism.

  • Publication number: 20030114053
Abstract: System and method for protecting a cooling system of a liquid-cooled engine using a protective material. This system enables a boat operator to flush the cooling system using salt, brackish or fresh water. In one embodiment, the system includes a reservoir, a dispenser and a connection device. The reservoir is capable of containing a protective material that can include, among others properties, anticorrosive properties. The dispenser controls release of the protective material from the reservoir and can be controlled manually or through a control unit. The system is coupled with the cooling system downstream from raw water intake ports and upstream from a terminal end of the cooling system as the cooling system terminates at the exhaust port. The protective fluid can be dispensed using gravity feed or a pump.

  • Patent number: 5369680
Abstract: An apparatus for verifying the central office billing translations from a remote location is disclosed. The system includes a processor with software which generates patterned telephone calls through a test set at the switch at a switching station to all working access codes. The billing information of these calls is then recorded. Once the recorded information is processed, the records which originated from the test set are identified by their assigned telephone number. These records are extracted and preferably recorded such that they can be automatically verified against an accurate routing and billing table for the specific site. The table is preferably stored in the test set.

  • Patent number: 4937850
Abstract: The present invention provides a test set which checks the communication line from a central office to a telephone responder which has a predetermined telephone number and which generates an output signal consisting of a predetermined sequence of signals. The checking is performed from a central testing station from where an operator inputs a test signal which identifies the telephone number of the test set located in the central office from which the test is to be made. Once the connection is established, the telephone number of the responder to be called is transmitted. The test set includes a signal detector which identifies an input signal. The signal detector is interfaced to the responder transmission medium such that the signal detector receives responder output signal as an input signal. The test set further includes a memory which includes the correct signal which should be received from the responder with called telephone number, and a processor.
