  • Publication number: 20130286113
Abstract: A seal includes a seal member; and a seal retainer having a housing for the seal member, the housing including a first thickness near a first end and a second thickness near a second end, wherein the first thickness does not equal the second thickness; a wall extending from the first end of the housing, the wall including a latch opening; a first hook on a first side of the seal retainer; and a second hook on a second side of the seal retainer, the second side being opposite the first side, wherein the first hook and second hook are disposed proximate the second end of the housing, and wherein a force applied to the seal member by the housing near the first end is equal to a force applied to the seal member by the housing near the second end when the seal is assembled onto the ink tank.

  • Patent number: 7862147
Abstract: A printhead has a substrate with a mounting surface for a printhead die. The printhead die includes a first face bonded to the mounting surface of the substrate and a second face opposite the first face. The second face including at least one array of marking elements disposed along a marking element array direction. An edge of the printhead die is substantially parallel to the marking element array direction. An inclined surface is positioned proximate to, but not overlapping the edge of the printhead die, wherein a distance from the inclined surface to the mounting surface of the substrate at a first location is greater than a distance from the inclined surface to the mounting surface of the substrate at a second location, the first location also being nearer the edge of the printhead die that is substantially parallel to the marking element array direction than the second location.

  • Patent number: 5708854
Abstract: A camera for use with a film cassette having a movable light lock supported within a film egress/ingress slot to be moved closed after a filmtrip is wound into the cassette, comprises a cassette-receiving chamber, and a movable driver to be moved to close the light lock before the cassette is removed from the chamber. An exterior ingress opening to the chamber is provided to admit an insertion tool into the chamber to push the cassette out of the chamber. The driver is located for the tool to push the driver out of the chamber with the cassette, whereby the camera will be disabled.

  • Patent number: RE35856
Abstract: A camera is provided having a film roll chamber for holding an unexposed roll of film, an exposure chamber into which ambient light enters through a taking lens to impinge on the film, and a light blocking member for preventing light entering through the taking lens from entering the film roll chamber. According to the invention, the light blocking member includes a stepped piece having a first step sufficiently raised to prevent light from entering the film roll chamber and a second step raised above the first step for supporting edges of the film In a preferred embodiment, the light shielding member supports the emulsion side of the film.
