  • Publication number: 20060194129
Abstract: A method for compensating a focus of an exposure field of view in an exposure tool. A height at a plurality of positions is measured across a substrate at a given layer using a tool other than the exposure tool. Edge positions on the substrate are identified where the height varies significantly from the height in center portions of the substrate. A focus compensation value is developed for the identified edge positions, and the identified edge positions are correlated with exposure fields of view on the exposure tool. The focus compensation value is input in an exposure program for use when the exposure tool focuses on the exposure fields of view that correlate with the identified edge positions. The method is repeated for as many layers of the substrate as desired.

  • Publication number: 20060068299
Abstract: A mask for exposing a first layer and a second layer on a process substrate, where the first and second layers are two separate layers of an integrated circuit. The mask includes a mask substrate that is substantially completely transmissive to a first wavelength of light and a second wavelength of light. A layer of a first material is disposed on the mask substrate, where the first material is substantially opaque to the first wavelength of light. The layer of the first material is patterned for the first layer. A layer of a second material is disposed on the mask substrate, where the second material is substantially opaque to the second wavelength of light. The layer of the second material is patterned for the second layer, where the first layer and the second layer are aligned on the mask substrate.

  • Publication number: 20050188425
Abstract: A lockout system for preventing a person from accessing electronic information using a computer or cable/ADSL modem, the system comprising a case housing a circuit capable of accessing electronic information and a locking device including a reading device configured to receive user input, the locking device configured to enable and disable the access of electronic information in response to the user input.

  • Publication number: 20050123113
Abstract: A lockout system for preventing a person from accessing electronic information through an interface device of a computer having a signal cable operably coupled at one end with a signal port and at the other end with an interface device of a computer, the signal cable configured to pass electronic information back and forth between the interface device and the port and a locking device including a relay having a set of contacts, the set of contacts coupled in-line with the signal cable, the relay when actuated, disabling the signal cable to prevent electronic information from passing between the interface device and the port. A plug lock insertable with the signal cable proximate the other end of the cable may be included for maintaining the other end of the signal cable in operable connection with the interface device to hinder a bypass of the lockout system.

  • Patent number: 5938767
Abstract: A lockout system for preventing children from accessing parentally-restricted and undesirable material with a computer comprises a controller unit for receiving commands from a computer and generating control codes to a data device to transmit electronic information over a phone line. A locking device is operably coupled to the controller unit and has a LOCKED state and an UNLOCKED state. The controller unit is further operable for determining the state of said locking device and preventing the transmission of electronic information from said data device when the locking device is in a LOCKED state. Other embodiments utilize a locking device to disable a relay in-line with the telephone line of a modem or to interrupt the phone line directly.

  • Patent number: 5661786
Abstract: A lockout system for preventing children from accessing parentally-restricted and undesirable electronic information through an interface device of a computer comprises a signal cable connected at one end with a signal port and at the other end with an interface device of a computer through an opening in a case of the computer, so electronic information may pass back and forth between the interface device and port and a locking device coupled in-line with the signal cable. The locking device, when actuated, disables the signal cable to prevent electronic information from passing between the interface device and port so that children cannot gain access to information prohibited by parents. A protective collar is configured for engaging the computer body proximate the opening in the case and maintaining the other end of the signal cable in operable connection with the interface device to hinder a bypass of the lockout system.
