The reactor may comprise one or more chambers comprising one or more microbes, biological medicators, or enzymatic accelerants to facilitate the weathering of the ultramafic material.

Abstract: A system supports creation and modification of a flexible and comprehensive location structure model able to track patients in a healthcare (or other) setting and identify suitable patient locations and location availability via a user friendly display interface. A method processes location related information for use in facilitating movement of a patient in a healthcare enterprise. The method involves establishing a profile comprising information identifying multiple locations available to accommodate a patient for different purposes. The profile incorporates attributes including a location type identifier, and a location characteristic of clinical significance influencing availability of a particular location to a patient having a particular medical condition. The profile is employed in providing a user with an indication of location availability in response to user command.

Abstract: A system for processing a record identifying a liability of a financially responsible party includes an acquisition processor for acquiring a record identifying a portion of a charge related to a service provided to a particular customer by a service provider organization. A data processor identifies a party financially responsible for the charge portion and identifies an account type associated with the charge portion using predetermined rules. The data processor also determines whether an account of the identified type exists for the identified financially responsible party. The data processor also initiates creation of an account of the identified type in response to a determination that an account of that type does not exist. A record processor associates the acquired record with the account of the identified type.

Abstract: A system for grouping records of charges associated with provision of services to an entity to support reimbursement monitoring includes an acquisition processor for acquiring data related to charges for services provided to the entity. A data processor is coupled to the acquisition processor and to a source of rules. The data processor groups the charges using the rules to provide a reimbursable amount value and creates a record containing data representing the grouped charges and the reimbursable amount value.

Abstract: A system and a method are described for providing a rule-based dynamic computer user interface for healthcare workers that emulates workflow. The system and method facilitate customization of user interface by the healthcare institution. A software model is presented that provides at least one of: a) an area for development of code (i.e., Build), b) an area that represents industry best practice business rules and work flows (i.e., Default/Model), and c) an area where customer specific adaptations reside (i.e., Client/Enterprise). Business processes are provided within the software model that describes all possible processes that might be used by a health care organization. Capability is then provided to adapt the defined business processes by scenario and/or context and in real time, changing flow of user interface screens and information presented to each user. A user interface is provided that has a consistent look and feel across all functions.

A method determines payment for provision of multiple different services based on predetermined reimbursement rules. The method involves receiving a record identifying a service provided to a specific entity and automatically creating a reimbursement record. The reimbursement record groups an item identifying the provided service together with an item identifying an other service provided to the specific entity based on predetermined service record allocation rules. A reimbursement amount for the identified provided service and the other service provided to the specific entity is calculated based on a reimbursement contract.
