  • Publication number: 20240149054
Abstract: A system for stimulating body tissue may include a user interface and a control unit. The control unit may include a processor and non-transitory computer readable medium. The non-transitory computer readable medium may store instructions that, when executed by the processor, causes the processor to identify an electrode combination and determine a threshold charge for use in stimulating the body tissue. The processors identifications and determinations may be based at least partially on input received via the user interface.

  • Publication number: 20240138899
Abstract: Method and system of control of conductive fluid during coagulation using radio frequency energy. At least one example is of sealing blood vessels, the method comprising: applying, by an electrosurgical controller, radio frequency (RF) energy between two electrodes of a coagulation wand, the two electrodes abutting tissue at a surgical site, and the RF energy at a coagulation energy; supplying, by the electrosurgical controller, a flow of conductive fluid to the surgical site; measuring, by the electrosurgical controller, a value indicative of impedance of tissue and conductive fluid between the two electrodes; and decreasing, by the electrosurgical controller, the flow of conductive fluid as the value indicative of impedance decreases.

  • Patent number: 11938382
Abstract: A method of making a golf club head includes the steps of providing a face of a club head, the face having a ball striking surface and a perimeter defining a border of the ball striking surface, providing a golf club head body that includes a crown, a sole, a toe, and a heel, attaching the face to a front portion of the club head body, and milling the ball striking surface and an edge portion of the face to cut a machined surface into the ball striking surface and the edge portion. The milled surface includes a plurality of first grooves located along the ball striking surface and defining a first depth, and a plurality of second grooves located adjacent the perimeter along the edge portion and defining a second depth. The first depth is different than the second depth.

  • Patent number: 11923470
Abstract: A method includes forming an assembly of layers including an InP cap layer on an InGaAs absorption region layer, wherein the InGaAs layer is on an n-InP layer, and wherein an underlying substrate layer underlies the n-InP layer. The method includes removing a portion of the InP cap and n-InP layer by dry etching.

  • Patent number: 8348223
Abstract: A flexible mold for a smoking device having a cup-shaped outer wall, a cup-shaped inner wall, and a third cup-shaped wall. The outer wall has a continuous sidewall connected to a bottom wall containing a central opening. The sidewall of the outer wall extends from the bottom wall of the outer wall to an open end and contains an opening in the sidewall spaced between the bottom end and the open end. The inner wall has a continuous sidewall, a cover closing one end. The sidewall of the inner wall is attached to the bottom wall of the outer wall surrounding the central opening. The third wall has a continuous sidewall and a closed end. The sidewall of the third wall is connected to the sidewall of the outer wall surrounding the opening in the outer wall. The closed end abuts a surface of the inner wall.

  • Publication number: 20110005533
Abstract: A mold for a smoking device comprises an insertable member removably connected to a body portion. The body portion generally comprises an elongated, preferably cylindrical tube having an open end and a closed end wherein a central axis extends along the axial length of the tube. The insertable member comprises an elongated member having a first end opposite a second end disposed along an axis and a cap portion extending radially outward around the first end. The body portion is filled with a liquid molding medium, such as water, and the insertable member is securely fastened to the body portion. The mold is exposed to a temperature change such that the molding medium changes phase from a liquid state to a solid state. The molded smoking product is removed from the mold and can be used for the user's benefit.
