  • Patent number: 11279286
Abstract: The present disclosure provides an actuator assembly for a mirror head. The actuator includes a tubular member, an inner carriage, an outer carriage, a helix drive shaft and a motor drive. The inner carriage includes one or more inner magnets. The outer carriage is coupled to the mirror head. The outer carriage includes one or more outer magnets magnetically coupled to the one or more inner magnets of the inner carriage. The helix drive shaft is drivably coupled to the inner carriage. The motor drive is configured to rotate the helix drive shaft relative to the tubular member. Upon rotation of the helix drive shaft by the motor drive, the inner carriage translates. The outer carriage also translates along with the inner carriage due to magnetic coupling between the one or more inner magnets and the one or more outer magnets.

  • Patent number: 11007939
Abstract: A support assembly for a mirror head includes a support arm defining a longitudinal axis. A top slot wall and a bottom slot wall of the support arm extend at least partly along the longitudinal axis and at least partly define a slot therebetween. The top slot wall defines an opening therethrough. A ramp extends from the bottom slot wall towards the top slot wall adjacent to the opening. The support assembly further includes inboard and outboard trunnions that are adapted to be at least partly and movably received in the slot. A carriage is coupled to the outboard trunnion and the mirror head. A support brace is rotationally coupled to the inboard and outboard trunnions. The outboard trunnion selectively travels on the ramp and through the opening to allow the support brace to be inclined obliquely relative to the longitudinal axis and the carriage to be rotated.

  • Patent number: 8925718
Abstract: A modular support system has individual frame modules each of which is formed by a series of standardized components that are secured together to form a generally elongate support structure for various uses, in particular a support structure for a conveyor. A truss frame module and a channel frame module are disclosed wherein both of the frame modules include a pair of elongate side frame members that are laterally spaced-apart and generally parallel, these frame members being secured together by a series of laterally-extending and transverse frame members. Specialized connectors attach to the ends of the laterally-extending and transverse frame members, which in turn are secured to the frame members. The components of each of the frame modules are substantially identical to the other so that they can be inverted or reversed without affecting assembly of the frame. The side frame members are made by profile cutting and roll forming an elongate metal plate.

  • Patent number: 7450470
Abstract: A process and apparatus for producing signals for controlling a display to produce an image in an imaging system employing a plurality of transducers. First and second beam signals are produced in response to delayed channel signals associated with respective transducers, the delayed channel signals representing real and imaginary components of time domain signals associated with respective transducers suitably delayed to focus a receive beam pattern of the transducers at a beam angle, each of the first and second beam signals including separate real and imaginary component representations. The real and imaginary components of the first and second beam signals are combined to produce a composite beam signal, the composite beam signal including separate real and imaginary component representations.

  • Patent number: 7212466
Abstract: A method and apparatus for producing an amplitude value for use in controlling illumination of a pixel on a display, in response to a sampled sonar signal produced by an element of a sonar array. A pixel time associated with the pixel is found, the pixel time representing a time required for sound to travel a distance represented by the pixel, according to a range of distance to be viewed on the display. A sample point of the sampled sonar signal is then found, the sample point having a sample time nearest the pixel time. A delay value associated with the pixel is then found, the delay value including an array element delay value. A representation of a synthesized waveform is then produced, in response to the sonar signal, the representation comprising a plurality of sample points coinciding in time with the sample points of the sonar signal.
