  • Patent number: 10685367
Abstract: Systems and methods configured to specify and/or deliver the benefit of an offer, based on the identity of an issuer of a consumer payment account with which the offer is associated and using which account a transaction qualifying for the offer is performed.

  • Publication number: 20160055441
Abstract: A processing system having a data store storing: a first set of identifications of first terminals, a second set of identifications of second terminals, and an allocated resource. Portions of resources used in the processing of tasks requested by the first terminals are allocated as part of the allocated resource prepared for tasks requested by the second terminals. In response to a request for a task from one of the first terminals, the processing system processes communicates with a resource controller of a resource identified by the request and allocates a portion of a resource used for processing the task as part of the allocated resource. In response to a request from one of the second terminals, the processing system indicates the allocated resource to the respective terminal and processes the request using both the allocated resource and a resource identified in the request and controlled by the resource controller.

  • Publication number: 20140365301
Abstract: A computing apparatus includes an offer engine configured to generate offers on behalf of merchants based on transaction data and a reduced set of parameters, such as budget, timing, and logo. The offers may be generated to include offer terms, identification of targeted customers to whom the offers will be provided, identification of media channels through which the offers will be distributed, and other aspects that generated based on the transaction data in accordance with the reduced set of parameters.

  • Publication number: 20140129313
Abstract: Systems and methods configured to allow an offer campaign to be specified based on event requirements associated with multiple, different merchants. The event requirements are linked via prerequisite conditions to form the offer campaign. Each event may identify an event related to one merchant (e.g., a payment transaction for a purchase from the merchant) and an optional action to be performed in response to a user satisfying the requirements of the event. Each merchant in the offer campaign is allowed to insert an event related to the merchant, subsequently edit the inserted event, and identify other events in the offer campaign as prerequisite requirements of the event related to the merchant. Merchants may be prevented from inserting or editing events specific to other merchants.

  • Publication number: 20140129306
Abstract: Systems and methods configured to allow an offer campaign to be specified in connection with a competition on a social networking site. Users are classified into different groups based on a result of the competition; and the offer campaign provides different interaction experiences to users of different groups in accordance with the specification of the offer campaign.

  • Publication number: 20140074599
Abstract: A computing apparatus configured to target the same offer differently to users based on the media channels used to deliver the offer. The offer may include first qualification conditions formulated based on triggering events, such as the current location of a user, the current transaction of the user as being processed by a transaction handler. The offer may further include second qualification conditions not based on such triggering events. When a first set of media channels is used for offer delivery, the first qualification conditions are ignored; and the offer is delivered, via the first set of media channels, to users who satisfy the second qualification conditions. When a second set of media channels is used for offer delivery, the delivery of the offer is limited to users who satisfy both the first qualification conditions and the second qualification conditions.

  • Publication number: 20140074575
Abstract: In one aspect, a computing apparatus is configured to represent offer rules based on requirements for the detection of predefined types of events and actions scheduled to be performed in response to the detection of each occurrence of the events. The events are independent from each other in processing and are linked via prerequisite conditions to formulate the requirements of an offer campaign. The computing apparatus is configured to allow a user to register a plurality of different accounts; and a transaction in a first account of the user can be used to satisfy the prerequisite conditions for the detection of a subsequent event in the offer rules corresponding to a subsequent transaction in a second account different from the first account. Thus, the user can use any of the registered accounts to generate the events anticipated by different stages of the offer rules and thus trigger the respective actions.
