  • Patent number: 10929567
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention disclose a method, computer program product, and system for parallel access to an electronic design automation (EDA) application. The computer receives a request to access an electronic design automation (EDA) application from at least two user computing device and authenticates a user associated with each of the requests from the at least two user computing devices to access the EDA application. The computer determines a level of access to be granted to each of the user of the at least two user computing devices and creates a parallel connection to each of the at least user computing device based on the determined level of access granted to each of the users. The computer retrieves data to be transmitted to each of the at least user computing device to be displayed on each of the user computing devices and stores the data in a memory unit.

  • Patent number: 9785735
Abstract: A system and method perform global routing during integrated circuit fabrication. The method includes performing a design change in a portion of an integrated circuit design using a processor, determining whether the design change requires rerouting, and requesting a global routing lock based on determining that the design change requires the rerouting. The method also includes a router providing control of the global routing lock to one of two or more of the threads that request the global routing lock, and performing global routing for all of the two or more of the threads in parallel. A physical implementation of the integrated circuit design is obtained.

  • Publication number: 20160015379
Abstract: Rotator cuff tears (complete and partial) are surgically repaired without needing more dermal access than percutaneous punctures. The surgeon is afforded a range of options for where to place a second tunnel in the bone, and selection by the surgeon of a desired bone bridge size is provided in advance of tunnel construction. Also, stitching in rotator cuff surgery can be accomplished without the need for suture anchors or added cost of secondary suture passers. Multiple stitch configurations including X-patterns are possible with combinations of preloaded loops and or sutures passed simultaneously through tissue and bone. Fixation is achieved without the use of suture anchors, buttons or other rigid implants.

  • Patent number: 9127565
Abstract: An apparatus includes a metal shell (200, 300) surrounding a body (230, 330) that is made of a ceramic matrix composite (CMC) material (231) The metal shell defines a space (250) adapted to contain the body and includes at least one protrusion (220) adapted to contact the body. A compliant porous element (240) is adapted to fit in the space between the metal shell and the body. A preload spring (260, 360) is provided in an urging orientation with the body wherein the preload spring is positioned against a first region (333) of the body and is adapted to urge the body toward one of the protrusions positioned against a second region (335) generally opposite the first region, and also to preload the compliant porous element. One of the protrusions may be a hard stop, and in the preload, one of the protrusions may be loaded.
