  • Publication number: 20220349850
Abstract: In some examples, a Vacuum Pre-treatment Module (VPM) metrology system is provided for measuring a sheet resistance of a layer on a substrate. The system may comprise an eddy sensor including a sender sensor and a receiver sensor defining a gap between them for accepting an edge of a substrate to be tested. A sensor controller receives measurement signals from the eddy sensor. A data processor processes the measurement signals and generates sheet resistance values for the layer on the substrate.

  • Patent number: 7996370
Abstract: A method, apparatus, and program product restore database data having dependencies or ordering sensitivities, or that incorporates a database index. Unresolved dependencies are identified in response to an attempt to restore data in a computer. The data restoration is deferred and the data is cached when it has an unresolved dependency. After the dependency is resolved, the data restoration is completed. The unresolved dependency may be based-on data that must be restored or created prior to completing restoration. Deferred data is cached in memory and tracked in a deferred operation table. Data that is deferred may be accessed so long as operations that access the underlying based-on data are denied.

  • Patent number: 7139884
Abstract: A method, apparatus and computer program product are provided for implementing enhanced autonomic data backup using multiple backup devices. A media definition object is defined for saving predefined user selections including a default backup format to be used, an order to process the libraries, a library exception size, and a maximum number of backup devices to be used serially. A list of libraries is generated by either a user specified order of the libraries or a size order of the libraries from largest to smallest. Each library in the generated list of libraries is processed to form at least one library queue of a serial device wait queue and a parallel device wait queue. A process IO procedure is called until backup completes for each library from the at least one library queue.

  • Patent number: 6297766
Abstract: A portable weather indicating device includes a housing with a display that can be carried by a user during hiking, biking, or other activities. A communication link and microprocessor are located in the housing for receiving and processing weather data. A global locating device, such as a global positioning system (GPS) receiver, inputs a user's location into the microprocessor. The display receives data from the microprocessor that is representative of at least one graphical weather image. The graphical weather image indicates the location input from the global locating device and the weather data. The graphical weather image includes an area encompassing the user's location and a location marker representative of the user's location within that area. A system for displaying weather data includes the portable weather indicating device and one or more base stations positioned at different locations.

  • Patent number: 6154852
Abstract: A method, computer program product and apparatus are provided for data backup and recovery in a computer system. The data backup and recovery method uses a plurality of tape drives in parallel. A unique token is associated with each data object being saved to a tape media. While saving backup data to the plurality of tape drives, a dynamic load balancer dynamically balances the load between the plurality of tape drives. While recovering backup data from tape media, the unique token is utilized for processing tape media files in any order. Data segments of one or more objects are distributed across the parallel tape devices and are non-serial across the tape media files used. When recovering backup data from tape media, the same number or fewer tape drives than used during data saving can be used.
