  • Publication number: 20230320720
Abstract: Improved suture anchor systems and methods of use are disclosed herein. The suture anchor may have proximal and distal ends, and first and second lateral sides extending between the proximal end and the distal end. A centrally located suture passage may extend through the anchor body from a first opening in the first lateral side to a second opening in the second lateral side. A channel may extend along a longitudinal axis of the anchor body. The insert may be configured to translate longitudinally within the channel between the proximal end of the anchor body and the distal surface of the suture passage. There may also be provided a surgical broach adapted for use with the suture anchor system.
    Type: Application

  • Publication number: 20220054122
Abstract: A suture anchor system comprising an anchor and an insert, and methods of use are provided. The anchor body has proximal and distal ends, and opposite first and second lateral sides extending between the proximal end and the distal end. A suture passage comprising a proximal surface and a distal surface extends through the anchor body from a first opening in the first lateral side to a second opening in the second lateral side. A channel extends along a longitudinal axis of the anchor body from a proximal opening in the proximal end of the anchor body to a distal opening in the proximal surface of the suture passage. The channel does not extend past the distal surface of the suture passage. The insert is configured to translate longitudinally within the channel between the proximal end of the anchor body and the distal surface of the suture passage.

  • Patent number: 8090468
Abstract: A method of controlling a multiple spindle machine includes measuring the motor currents provided to a first spindle and a second spindle over a period of time, establishing an amount of time between impacts on a workpiece of a cutting tooth of the first spindle relative to a cutting tooth of the second spindle based on the measured motor currents of the first spindle and the second spindle, determining an angle to shift the second spindle relative to the first spindle, and increasing or decreasing the amount of time between impacts to obtain the determined shift angle for the second spindle.
    Type: Grant

  • Publication number: 20060264960
Abstract: Spinal fusion implants are laparoscopically placed in a disc space separating two vertebrae. Implant tools, including distraction spacers boring tools and implants are passed through a cannula toward the disk space.

  • Publication number: 20050131539
Abstract: The disclosure provides fusion implants, instruments and methods for insertion of the implants between opposing vertebral bodies to facilitate stabilization or arthrodesis of an intervertebral joint. A cross section through the longitudinal dimension of the implant is substantially configured in an ā€œIā€ shape. In addition to other features, the implants of the invention provide a reduced contact surface area with the interior surface of a bore formed for receiving the implant.
