  • Publication number: 20230139464
Abstract: An authoring platform for authoring a client workflow includes an arrangement of shapes representing steps and connections representing relationships between the steps. Online content retrieved from an online resource may be associated with steps of the client workflow. An authoring service receives the client workflow from the client interface via a network and directs a graph database to store a database workflow corresponding to the client workflow. A search platform is provided for creating and searching workflows using a tag database taxonomy. An author creates a workflow wherein a tag is linked to a workflow item. The workflow is stored as a database workflow and a node in the database workflow representing the workflow item is linked to a node in the database taxonomy representing the tag. Multiple workflows are created in a similar manner to link the workflows to the database taxonomy to provide efficient searching of the workflows.

  • Patent number: 11373133
Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a computer storage medium, to share information in a community of robots and users to perform tasks. In one aspect, a method includes registering a plurality of robots in a system including creating for each robot a robot profile; publishing the robot profile; collecting operational data related to performance of tasks, the operational data including situational awareness information from at least a first of the plurality of registered robots; evaluating the collected operational data including performing statistical analysis, modeling, and extrapolation using the collected operational data; and in response to a request to transfer relevant data to at least a second of the plurality of registered robots, determining relevant data from the evaluated collected operational data, the relevant data including at least a portion of the situational awareness information; and sending the relevant data to at least the second registered robot.

  • Patent number: 10383314
Abstract: A method includes providing a wearable device compatible with and worn by an animal, the wearable device including a processing engine, a plurality of sensors, and a communication interface to a remotely located base station. The method includes monitoring an environment around the wearable device as the animal traverses a space and collecting information based on data generated by the plurality of sensors. The method also includes analyzing the data generated by the plurality of sensors and inferring activities associated with a human in proximity to the animal, wherein inferring activities includes determining a current location of the human based on data generated by one or more of the sensors, and determining activities of the human over a period of time based on data generated by the one or more sensors.

  • Publication number: 20140099622
Abstract: A design application allows one or more authors to create a learning path associated with a given topic. The learning path includes content curated from various online resources. The design application allows the authors to aggregate the content from the various online resources. The design application allows the author to curate content to include or associate with nodes. The design application also allows the authors to arrange the nodes in a hierarchy. When the learning path is complete, the design application presents the learning path to users. Users access the content within the learning path according to the hierarchy of the nodes. Advantageously, the author is able to present content, which may otherwise be distributed across the internet, within a cohesive learning path.

  • Publication number: 20080028301
Abstract: A document that has been created with a document authoring software is published for viewing using a document viewing software. The document viewing software provides tools for viewing and annotating the published document and saving the published document with the annotations. When the published document with the annotations is opened using the document authoring software, the original document created with the document authoring software is also opened so that modifications can be made to the original document based on the annotations.
