  • Patent number: 7653245
Abstract: A method of coding a view in a CAD drawing comprises: identifying a feature of the view; extracting properties of the feature from the CAD drawing, the properties including vector properties associated with a graphic entity or group of entities which make up the feature; generating code bits representative of the extracted properties; adding the code bits to a view code for the view; and storing the view code. A CAD drawing is selected for retrieval from a database of drawings by producing a CAD source drawing having a source view, coding the source view to produce a source code as described above, comparing the source code with stored view codes, calculating a similarity index for each stored view code and selecting the drawing for retrieval from the database on the basis of the similarity index.

  • Publication number: 20090049163
Abstract: The exemplary embodiments provide a computer implemented method, apparatus, and computer usable program code for storing data associated with a Simple Network Management Protocol managed information base. A storage area identifier that defines a storage area is reserved. The storage area does not have an associated pre-defined set of identifiers that a user can perform Simple Network Management Protocol operations on. An input is received from a requester, wherein the input comprises an input identifier. A determination is made as to whether storage area identifier is a prefix of the input identifier. Responsive to a determination that storage area identifier is a prefix of the input identifier, the input is processed without referring to a definition file for the managed information base. A response indicating a result is sent to the requester.

  • Publication number: 20050188876
Abstract: The locking and stabilizing device for grenades utilizes a solid nylon ring and multiple nylon ribbons that are attached to the ring at regular intervals around its circumference. During storage, the ring surrounds and locks the slider of the grenade in its storage position. But upon deployment, under aerodynamic forces the ring moves away from the slider, releasing the slider. When the slider is thusly released, it slides out and brings the detonator in place to be impacted upon by the pin when the grenade hits the target, thus detonating the grenade. The multiple ribbons extending from the ring unfurl due to the aerodynamic forces and provide stability to the grenade flight.
