  • Publication number: 20250035444
Abstract: A system comprises a radar altimeter that produces range-to-ground measurements; an aided INS or AHRS that produces vertical acceleration, roll, and pitch measurements; an air data system that produces barometric altitude measurements; and a processor including a BIV hybrid filter, and a RAIV hybrid filter set. The BIV hybrid filter receives the vertical acceleration measurements and the barometric altitude measurements. The RAIV hybrid filter set receives input measurements comprising the vertical acceleration, roll, and pitch measurements, BIV hybrid filter statistics, and the range-to-ground measurements. The RAIV hybrid filter set comprises a plurality of hybrid filters that operate in parallel with each other in respective filter slots. A hybrid filter in each filter slot operates on partially overlapping, time limited staggered intervals of the input measurements, with respect to other hybrid filters in other filter slots.

  • Publication number: 20240195068
Abstract: A capacitively or inductively driven spiral antenna creates an electric current distribution of a dipole, which generates a sensible magnetic field for various military applications including detecting and pre-detonating improvised explosive devices (IEDs). The antenna includes a dielectric substrate, a spiral antenna, driving elements such as tuning forks or loop, and a coaxial cable that connects to a source terminal. The substrate is a low dielectric loss insulating material to provide support for the antenna. The spiral antenna is tuned to a natural frequency is disposed on the substrate. The coaxial cable extends from the substrate to the source terminal.

  • Patent number: 10938294
Abstract: Devices and techniques are generally described for a doorbell camera circuit architecture. In some examples, at least one processor of a doorbell device may generate a first control signal. The at least one processor may send the first control signal to a power-switching control circuit of the doorbell device. The power-switching control circuit may receive a first input electrical signal. The power-switching control circuit may store at least a portion of energy associated with the first input electrical signal in a plurality of capacitors of the power-switching control circuit. The power-switching control circuit may supply power from the plurality of capacitors to a camera of the doorbell device during a first state of the control signal. In various examples, the power-switching control circuit may supply power from the battery to the camera of the doorbell device during a second state of the control signal.

  • Patent number: 10922940
Abstract: Techniques are generally described for motion detection by supplying voltage pulses to a radio frequency (RF) circuit. In some examples, an RF motion detection circuit may output a first RF signal based at least in part on a first voltage pulse. In some further examples, the RF motion detection circuit may receive a second RF signal, the second RF signal being the first RF signal reflected from an environment external to the RF motion detection circuit. In some further examples, the first RF signal and the second RF signal may be mixed to generate a difference component signal. A first output voltage representing the difference component signal may be generated. In some examples, the first output voltage may be used to detect motion in the environment.
