  • Patent number: 11989645
Abstract: A system is described that comprises a memory for storing data representative of at least one kernel, a plurality of spiking neuron circuits, and an input module for receiving spikes related to digital data. Each spike is relevant to a spiking neuron circuit and each spike has an associated spatial coordinate corresponding to a location in an input spike array. The system also comprises a transformation module configured to transform a kernel to produce a transformed kernel having an increased resolution relative to the kernel, and/or transform the input spike array to produce a transformed input spike array having an increased resolution relative to the input spike array.

  • Publication number: 20230206066
Abstract: Disclosed herein are system, method, and computer program embodiments for an improved spiking neural network (SNN) configured to learn and perform unsupervised, semi-supervised, and supervised extraction of features from an input dataset. An embodiment operates by receiving a modification request to modify a base neural network, having N layers and a plurality of spiking neurons, trained using a primary training dataset. The base neural network is modified to include supplementary spiking neurons in the Nth or N + 1th layer of the base neural network. The embodiment includes receiving a secondary training dataset and determining membrane potential values of one or more supplementary spiking neurons in the Nth or Nth + 1 layer which learn features based on secondary training data set to select a supplementary/winning spiking neuron. The embodiment performs a learning function for the modified neural network based on the winning spiking neuron.

  • Publication number: 20080116203
Abstract: A container for storage and dispensing of paint includes a unitary, molded plastic container body defining an interior volume and including an annular container opening through which the contents are dispensed. Included as part of the paint container is a dispensing spout which is positioned within the container opening and includes a pouring lip. The dispensing spout includes a threaded portion which receives a removable closing cap. The cap is constructed and arranged to close the container opening. A transporting handle is provided and is attached directly to the container body.

  • Publication number: 20060289570
Abstract: A container for storing and dispensing fluids includes a container body having an upwardly extending annular neck portion defining a container opening and terminating into an annular rim having a generally flat, upwardly facing sealing surface and an inwardly extending flange. A separate spout member includes an annular wall having an inwardly extending portion defining a pour spout and an outwardly extending lip at one end thereof, wherein the lip includes a downwardly facing sealing surface. The annular wall also includes an outwardly extending shoulder below the lip for engaging the rim flange, wherein the annular wall is configured to be received within the container opening and wherein the annular wall shoulder is capable of being snap-fit over the rim flange to create a seal between said rim sealing surface and said lip sealing surface. The container also includes a removable lid that threadedly engages the container neck.

  • Publication number: 20050017008
Abstract: A blow-molded, plastic paint container for storing and dispensing paint includes a blow-molded container body defining an externally-threaded neck portion, an injection molded plastic closing cap, internally-threaded so as to be threadedly securable to the neck portion for closing the container body, a liner assembled into the closing cap and a depending annular wall positioned between the neck portion and the liner in order to cause any paint skin that forms to be formed into two portions, one portion being adjacent to the liner and the other portion being adjacent to the container body. Each paint skin portion adhering to its corresponding structural portion of the paint container and remaining intact. In a related embodiment, the annular wall is replaced with three cutting blades.
