  • Publication number: 20150029567
Abstract: A holographic weapon sight folds for storage or to position where a portion of the sight is out of the way when not in use. Certain embodiments include a readout beam source mounted to the stationary base of the sight and the source directly illuminates a hologram plate supported in a pivotally mounted hologram support when the sight is in a position intended for use.

  • Publication number: 20060157106
Abstract: A nitrous oxide and fuel control valve has simultaneous flow control of nitrous oxide from a first fluid-delivery aperture (8) and flow control of fuel from a second fluid-delivery aperture (10) into a mixing nozzle (38) of an intake manifold of an engine by simultaneous actuation of an activation T-bar (18) with an actuation piston (26) that is actuated with gas pressure from an actuation-pressure source (43) with an actuation on/off solenoid valve (44). It can be structured for low-weight, short-term needs for racing and other sports uses or for heavier long-term needs of engines.

  • Publication number: 20060157108
Abstract: A nitrous oxide or fuel control valve has flow control of nitrous oxide from a fluid-delivery aperture (7) or flow control of fuel from a fluid-delivery aperture (8) into a injection nozzle (22) of an intake manifold of an engine by actuation of an adjuster coupler nut (11) with an actuation piston (14) that is actuated with gas pressure from an actuation-pressure source (43) with an actuation on/off valve(25). It can be structured for low-weight, short-term needs for racing and other sports uses or for heavier long-term needs of engines.

  • Patent number: 5842290
Abstract: A shoe cover (10) characterized by being removable and replaceable without requiring the use of the wearer's hands. The shoe cover (10) generally includes a sole (16) having a heel portion (18) and a toe portion (20), one or more members (30) for elastically pulling the toe portion (20) toward the heel portion (18), and a tab (32) projecting from the shoe cover (10) near the heel portion (18). As such, prior to donning, the shoe cover (10) is biased to have a slightly arcuate shape in the region of the sole (16) between the toe and heel portions (20, 18). When putting on the shoe cover (10), the intended wearer steps on the tab (32) near the heel portion (18) so as to immobilize the cover (10), and then inserts the toe of the other foot into the toe portion (20) of the shoe cover (10) to the extent that the shoe cover (10) is generally straightened, overcoming the tension generated by the elastic member (30).

  • Patent number: 5523768
Abstract: An integrated semi-parabolic antenna/down converter MMDS receiving system wherein the support boom of a semi-parabolic antenna contains the down converter electronics. Located at the focal area of the semi-parabolic antenna are a pair of driven feed elements which are directly connected to the printed circuit board carrying the down converter electronics. The down converter is formed in an elongated shape to fit entirely within the formed hollow interior of the support boom. The down converter comprises a first printed circuit board which contains an RF filter located at the input end of the printed circuit board. The input of the RF filter circuit is directly connected to the pair of driven feed elements by soldering the legs of the driven feed elements directly to the input of the RF filter stage on the first printed circuit board. The RF filter is surrounded by an input ground shield which covers the RF filter circuit. The shield is soldered to the top and bottom ground planes of the printed circuit board.

  • Patent number: 4012766
Abstract: An improved plastic package and method of manufacture thereof for use in packaging integrated circuit semiconductor devices and the like. A transfer molded package having the lead frame disposed therein is formed having an opening therethrough. The device to be packaged is mounted on a stepped mounting member which then is located with respect to the opening with the height of the step being selected to generally dispose the top surface of the device substantially co-planar with the adjacent leads of the package. Sealing of the package may be accomplished by potting the upper and lower cavities of the opening in the plastic package, or by potting or cementing over a cup above the device so the space immediately above the device remains unfilled after sealing.
