    Abstract: A thermal management system includes a slurry generator, an injector pump coupled to the slurry generator, a heat exchanger reactor coupled to the injector pump, wherein the heat exchanger reactor is adapted to subject a thermally expendable heat absorption material to a temperature above 60° C. and a pressure below 3 kPa, and wherein the expendable heat absorption material endothermically decomposes into a gaseous by-product. A vapor cycle system is coupled to the heat exchanger reactor and is operatively connected to a thermal load. A thermal energy storage system may be coupled to the vapor cycle system and the thermal load. The thermal energy storage system may isolate the heat exchanger reactor from thermal load transients of the thermal load.

    Abstract: A storage device for storing gladhands and an electrical connector of a truck or other vehicle that has pneumatic lines with the gladhands thereon and an electrical line with the electrical connector thereon. The storage device includes a housing having a plurality of sidewalls that define a storage area sized to receive the gladhands and electrical connector. The housing has an open side providing access to the storage area, and one of the plurality of sidewalls has an elongated slot therein that is sized to receive the pneumatic and electrical lines when the gladhands and electrical connector are positioned in the storage area. The slot has an open receiving end at the open end portion of the housing to allow the pneumatic and electrical lines to move into and out of the slot. The slot has a width dimension that is smaller than the gladhands and electrical connector to prevent the gladhands or electrical connector from moving through the slot and out of the housing.

    Abstract: A liquid applicator includes an elongated hollow body having opposed first and second open ends in fluid communication with one another, and a tip attached to the first open end and including a porous material. A closed, frangible ampul is supported within the second open end of the body and contains a liquid to be dispensed. A cap is provided at the second open end of the body, and which is movable axially relative to the body between a storage position and a use position in order to fracture the ampul. However, the cap is retained on the body and locked against movement from either of the storage or use positions toward the second open end of the body.

The deflector shield may also include rearview mirrors coupled to the ends of the deflector shield for increasing the driver's field of vision at the sides of the vehicle.
