  • Patent number: 11972257
Abstract: An industrial integrated development environment (IDE) allows project topologies to be defined using an industrial domain-specific language (DSL) script. DSL scripting language can be used to define a control system topology in terms of the devices that make up the control system as well as the data connections between those devices. The IDE system can translate resulting topology to a project tree that serves as the basis for a control system project.

  • Patent number: 9003297
Abstract: A software-based method and system to provide a secure user interface on multiple and diverse electronic computing devices with a customized and secure dashboard feature. The systems and methods simultaneously integrate internally generated software utilities of an enterprise with externally accessed software operating in a ‘cloud computing’ environment. The systems and methods can be used in management and operations that use computer based software, data management, creative processes and communication systems. The systems and methods reduce the requirement for additional programming to integrate or interchange equivalent and independently developed software for use within an enterprise. The systems and methods permit social network communications between members of an enterprise and an external community.

  • Publication number: 20120136384
Abstract: A graduated arterial dilation balloon catheter, including an elongate catheter body for being introduced into an artery, and including a inflatable treatment zone section for being positioned in a section of an artery to be treated, a first, relatively small diameter balloon positioned distally in the treatment zone section, and a second, relatively large diameter inflatable balloon positioned proximally within the treatment zone section of the catheter body in longitudinal alignment with the first balloon and with the catheter body. A first dilation lumen is provided and extends in fluid communication along the catheter body between a first dilation port and the first balloon; and a second dilation lumen is provided and extends in fluid communication along the catheter body between a second dilation port and the second balloon.

  • Patent number: 7664724
Abstract: A schema-based service for Internet access to per-user services data, wherein access to data is based on each user's identity. The service includes a schema that defines rules and a structure for each user's data, and also includes methods that provide access to the data in a defined way. The services schema thus corresponds to a logical document containing the data for each user. The user manipulates (e.g., reads or writes) data in the logical document by data access requests through defined methods. In one implementation, the services schemas are arranged as XML documents, and the services provide methods that control access to the data based on the requesting user's identification, defined role and scope for that role. In this way, data can be accessed by its owner, and shared to an extent determined by the owner.

  • Publication number: 20030131073
Abstract: A schema-based contacts service for Internet access to per-user contact data, wherein access to data is based on each user's identity. The contacts service includes a schema that defines rules and a structure for each user's data, and also includes methods that provide access to the data in a defined way. The contacts schema thus corresponds to a logical document containing the data for each user. The user manipulates (e.g., reads or writes) data in the logical document by data access requests through defined methods. • Publication number: 20020138566
Abstract: Processing a response to a network request using information that was transplanted into the response from a specific portion of the request. A requesting computer system generates an electronic request that includes the specific portion. The requesting computer system then submits the request to a responding computer system, which processes the request to form a response to the request. During processing of the request, the responding system transplants the specific portion of the request to the response. The responding computer system then transmits the response to the request to a processing computer system that processes the request. The processing computer system receives the response and extracts the information from the specific portion of the response. The processing computer system then uses the extracted information to process the request.

  • Patent number: 6333694
Abstract: An alarm system for sending distress information over a communication link includes a sensor to be worn by a user. Distress information is transmitted from the sensor when the user is in a predetermined position indicative of an emergency, when the user moves outside of a predetermined safety area, when the power supply supplying power to the sensor is low, when the user voluntarily activates the sensor, and when the user is not wearing the sensor. In response to the distress information, audio and/or video communication between the user and personnel monitoring the user at a remote central office is provided in response to the distress information.
