  • Publication number: 20140304063
Abstract: An example system includes: identifying campaigns for content distribution for which conversion information has been collected over time and stored in a database in computer storage, where the identified campaigns have at least one subject in common; for each of at least some of the campaigns, performing operations that include: identifying distribution clusters associated with the campaign, and determining relative conversion rates for the distribution clusters; and using relative conversion rates for distribution clusters, which have one or more features in common and are in different campaigns, in determining how to allocate resources for the content distribution.

  • Publication number: 20140304069
Abstract: An example budget allocation process may include: determining how to allocate a budget among different content distribution mechanisms, and generating a graphical user interface showing allocations of the budget among the different content distribution mechanisms, where the graphical user interface includes elements to vary the allocations, and where the elements are movable to trigger variations in the allocations. The example process may also include: receiving an input from the graphical user interface; determining a reallocation of the budget among the different content distribution mechanisms based on the input; and updating the graphical user interface using the reallocation of the budget among the different content distribution mechanisms. The graphical user interface may be updated so that at least some of the elements and information relating to the content distribution mechanisms reflect the reallocation of the budget.

  • Publication number: 20140019856
Abstract: A computer-implemented method for obtaining a font for a document includes determining each glyph of a font that is specified in contents of an electronic document, the determination identifying a subset of multiple glyphs included in the font, the subset determined on a first device that does not have the font stored thereon. The method includes generating on the first device a request to a second device based on the determination, the request identifying the subset to the second device. The method includes receiving, at the first device, information sent from the second device in response to the request and defining the subset of the multiple glyphs, the information not defining a remainder of the multiple glyphs other than the subset. The method includes generating on the first device a presentation of the electronic document using the received information, the presentation including the subset of the multiple glyphs.
