  • Publication number: 20090036861
Abstract: A system for mixing or reconstituting a drug contained in a first container with a diluent or fluid contained in a second container. The second container has a port docking assembly for engaging the first container. The first container is rotatable and axially slidable within the port docking assembly. The port docking assembly has an actuator to urge a stopper fluidly sealing the first container into the interior of the first container. The port docking assembly further includes a movable plug constructed to fluidly seal the second container in a first, docked position and to provide access to the interior of the second container in a second, activated position, whereby fluid communication between the first and second containers is provided when the first and second containers are in the second, activated position.
    Type: Application
    Filed: July 31, 2008
    Publication date: February 5, 2009
    Applicant: HOSPIRA, INC.
Inventors: Yei F. Moy, Stanley F. Pytel, John S. Ziegler, Jesse C. Darley, Douglas S. Rodenkirch

  • Publication number: 20090022540
Abstract: A pull-behind floor finish applicator wherein a peristaltic pump is employed in conjunction with disposable conduit tubing obviate any clean up of the pump. This applicator is adaptable to receiving bag in the box floor finish, thus reducing cleaning time. The applicator employs a minimum number of disposable parts thus making it economical to produce. A mop is employed to apply floor finish to easily accessible areas in one instance, yet allows the mop to be used independently for application of floor finish to not so easily accessible areas.

  • Publication number: 20080279610
Abstract: A pull-behind floor finish applicator wherein a mop with a handle is connected to the applicator, yet is readily removable therefrom. This allows the mop to be used as a component of the walk-behind applicator for applying floor finish to easily accessible areas in one instance, yet allows the mop to be used independently for application of floor finish to not so easily accessible areas. The applicator is adaptable to receiving bag in the box floor finish, thus reducing cleaning time. The applicator employs a minimum number of disposable parts thus making it economical to produce. Some embodiments utilize a pump driven by the power of the wheels. A transmission assembly is provided in some embodiments to deliver power from the wheels to a pump.
