  • Patent number: 8725353
Abstract: The present disclosure provides a system and a method for mitigating vehicle rollovers, the method comprises monitoring a vehicular tilt and sensing a vehicular rollover in a particular direction, through a tilt sensor. Further, the system determines an occurrence of a rollover according to a calculated tilt threshold, through a central processing unit. Steering the vehicle in the sensed direction of the rollover, accelerating the vehicle in the same direction, and braking the vehicle upon sensing a decrease in the rollover, all being controlled through a controller, enables the vehicle to eventually stabilize and return to track.

  • Publication number: 20140070504
Abstract: An expandable mobile display sales cart that has two positions: mobile/storage position and display position. The cart design allows multiples of the carts to be used together. The cart can be placed in the mobile/storage position that permits the contraction of the cart to a minimal footprint floor space where many carts can be transported in a condensed environment. The display position allows the expansion of the cart where many carts can be arranged in different configurations for the easy viewing, browsing and purchasing of the product by the customer. The cart has a shelf unit with a slide and lock system that allows the shelf unit to be contracted and locked substantially to the center of the cart to provide a stable and condensed footprint for mobility, reducing the overall size of the cart, and expanded and locked for the display position.

  • Publication number: 20140027237
Abstract: A clutch assembly includes a first set of clutch plates and a second set of clutch plates interweaved with the first set of clutch plates. The second set of clutch plates is coupled to a rotatable inner hub, and a stationary backing plate is mounted about the inner hub. The first set of clutch plates is coupled to the backing plate such that the first set of clutch plates and the second set of clutch plates are compressed together with one of the first set or the second set of clutch plates abutting against the backing plate when the clutch assembly is engaged. The clutch assembly further includes a connecting hub coupled to the inner hub, such that the connecting hub supports the stationary backing plate with a bearing disposed between the connecting hub and the backing plate.

  • Publication number: 20130329064
Abstract: Embodiments of the invention provide techniques for upsampling a video sequence for coding. According to the method, an estimate of camera motion may be obtained from motion sensor data. Video data may be analyzed to detect motion within frames output from a camera that is not induced by the camera motion. When non-camera motion falls within a predetermined operational limit, video upsampling processes may be engaged. In another embodiment, video upsampling may be performed by twice estimating image content for a hypothetical new a frame using two different sources as inputs. A determination may be made whether the two estimates of the frame match each other sufficiently well. If so, the two estimates may be merged to yield a final estimated frame and the new frame may be integrated into a stream of video data.

  • Publication number: 20130329799
Abstract: Video coders may perform perspective transformation of reference frames during coding in a manner that conserves processing resources. When a new input frame is available for coding, a camera position for the input frame may be estimated. A video coder may search for reference pictures having similar camera positions as the position of the input frame and, for each reference picture identified, the video coder may perform a prediction search to identify a reference picture that is the best prediction match for the input frame. Once the video coder identifies a reference picture to serve as a prediction source for the input frame, the video coder may derive a transform to match the reference frame data to the input frame data and may transform the reference picture accordingly. The video coder may code the input frame using the transformed reference picture as a prediction reference and may transmit coded frame data and the camera position of the input frame to a decoder.
