  • Patent number: 12195188
Abstract: A system and method for relieving pressure from a passenger cabin of an aircraft during a decompression event with a resettable decompression system. The system includes a resettable decompression retainer having a swing arm pivotably connected to a base. The swing arm has a bias relative to the base provided by a spring connected to both the swing arm and the base. The swing arm engages a slip fitting that is attached to a ceiling panel of the aircraft. The resettable decompression system allows the ceiling panel to move thus allowing air pressures between a passenger cabin and a crown space to equalize. After a decompression event, the resettable decompression retainer can be manually reset without the use of tools and without repairing or replacing the resettable decompression retainer.

  • Patent number: 12093339
Abstract: Systems and methods for providing a document are described. In one described method, a document comprising a portion selected by a first member of a social network is hosted for the first member. The portion is dynamically updated with content. An audience criterion for the portion and a type of relationship between the first member and a second member of the social network are identified. If the type of relationship between the first member and the second member satisfies the audience criterion, the second member is provided access to at least the portion.

  • Patent number: 12086593
Abstract: An apparatus has processing circuitry, an instruction decoder, and capability registers, each capability register to store a capability comprising a pointer and constraint metadata for constraining valid use of the pointer/capability. In response to a capability-generating address calculating instruction specifying an offset value, a reference capability register is selected as one of a program counter capability register and a further capability register. A result capability is generated for which the pointer of the result capability indicates a window address identifying a selected window within an address space, the selected window being offset from a reference window by a number of windows determined based on the offset value of the capability-generating address calculating instruction. The reference window comprises the window comprising an address indicated by the pointer of the reference capability register.

  • Publication number: 20240262315
Abstract: A vehicle automatically engages a transportation security mode responsive to a vehicle location corresponding to a location predefined for engagement of the security mode. The vehicle also determines that the vehicle has begun movement, and that a characteristic of the movement corresponds to a trigger for a security action designated for the location predefined for engagement of the security mode. The vehicle, based on the movement, characteristic, and location predefined for engagement of the security mode, automatically engages the security action.

  • Patent number: 12039863
Abstract: A system and method are disclosed to provide train detection and alerts. Embodiments include monitoring train status data, detecting a presence of a train based on the train status data, capturing current train data and converting the current train data and mapping device location data from one or more mapping devices into train metrics. Embodiments estimate an arrival time of the train at a railroad crossing and a duration of the train at the railroad crossing, check the current train data for errors, apply rules to the current train data to validate the current train data and generate an alert in response to the rules being satisfied. Embodiments display the alert on the one or more mapping devices to notify one or more corresponding users of the one or more mapping devices of the presence of the train.
