  • Publication number: 20080041425
Abstract: A device for applying stain treatment formulation to a garment or article of clothing while it is being worn is disclosed. The device includes a reservoir with an applicator tip for containing the formulation and dispensing the formulation to a stain, spot or mark on the garment. The device also includes a shell connected to the reservoir for housing an absorbent member dispensing mechanism. After the stain removal formulation is applied, the absorbent member is pressed and/or rubbed on the stain to lift and remove the stain and to absorb or wick excess formulation thereby reducing the time needed for the resulting wet spot to dry. Effective stain removing formulations for on-the-go use are also provided.

  • Publication number: 20070015096
Abstract: A melting plate candle assembly includes a melting plate with a locating protrusion, which engages a fuel element in a predefined orientation when in a preferred operative position. In one operative position, the bottom surface of the fuel element is disposed on the melting plate, and a capillary space is formed between a capillary pedestal on the melting plate and a capillary recess in the bottom surface of the fuel element. The locating protrusion provides positive indication that the fuel element is properly disposed in the operative position.

  • Publication number: 20070006412
Abstract: Disclosed is a cleaning brush for cleaning toilet bowls and the like. The brush has a permanent handle and replaceable/disposable brush heads that are flushable after each cleaning. The brush is a stack of sheets of water-dissolvable and/or agitation-dissolvable material. The sheets can be attached together at an end by pressure bonding or by a water-soluble adhesive and formed with bristles at an opposite end. The wand provides a remote system for clamping and unclamping the brush head.

  • Publication number: 20050246848
Abstract: Disclosed is a brush for cleaning toilet bowls and the like. The brush has a permanent handle and can be used with a replaceable/disposable brush head that is flushable after use. The brush is a stack of sheets of water-dissolvable material. The sheets are compressed to both bind them together into a stack. There is a longitudinal slit in the rear of the brush head to create left and right rear attachment tabs. A wand provides a remote system for clamping and unclamping the brush head. The wand has a jaw whose mouth has two wedge shaped teeth that are offset from each other to clamp the corresponding tabs while driving the tabs in opposite directions in the jaw.

  • Publication number: 20050208447
Abstract: A candle assembly is disclosed including a melting plate and a fuel element. The melting plate includes a bottom wall and a capillary lobe having a peaked apex protruding upwardly therefrom. The fuel element includes a bottom surface having a depression therein for receiving the peaked apex. The peaked apex may take many forms, such as hemispherical, conical, egg shaped, pyramidal, etc., and may have a pointed apex or a rounded apex. The depression in the fuel element may be complementary to the capillary lobe such that a capillary space is disposed therebetween and a portion of the bottom surface of the fuel element is in thermal communication with a portion of the bottom wall surrounding the capillary lobe.

  • Publication number: 20050039293
Abstract: A dispenser includes a cradle (2) including generally upright sidewalls (4, 6), a handle (40) having a top and a bottom, and a plurality of sheets (30) releasably attached to the bottom of the handle (40), such that the plurality of sheets (30) faces the cradle (2). The cradle (2) can house a reservoir (14) containing a liquid product. The handle (40) is positioned by the upright sidewalls (4, 6) of the cradle (2) and is supported by the cradle (2). The liquid product can be dispensed from the reservoir (14) onto the surface of the outermost sheet (50) of the plurality of sheets (30). That sheet (50) then can be used to apply the liquid product to a surface, and can be removed and discarded after use, revealing a fresh sheet.

  • Publication number: 20010044990
Abstract: A reclosable fastener assembly includes first and second elongated closure elements that are engageable to form a seal. A slider is slidable relative to the closure elements between an open position and a closed position and is adapted (i) to engage the closure elements to one another when moved across the closure elements toward the closed position and (ii) to disengage the closure elements from one another when moved across the closure elements toward the open position. The slider carries a first partial indicator. A second partial indicator is located relative to the closure elements so as to complement the first partial indicator to form a visual indicator when the slider is in the closed position.
