Abstract: A system for optimizing a medical procedure room initial set up includes a procedure room initial set up module configured to obtain at least one medical procedure room initial set up input and provide virtual image guidance based on the medical procedure room initial set up input. The system includes a procedure input module configured to acquire data in the medical procedure room initial set up and a machine learning module configured to analyze prestored data and compare the acquired data with the analyzed prestored data. The machine learning module is further configured to modify the at least one medical procedure room initial set up input based on the comparison and provide the modified at least one medical procedure room initial set up input to the procedure room initial set up module for optimizing the current medical procedure room initial set up.

The computing device is configured to execute a creator module to obtain spatial information corresponding to physical characteristics of medical procedure room, generate virtual map, display virtual map, and insert virtual representations of medical items into virtual map. The computing device is configured to execute the creator module to determine position data of the virtual representations in the virtual map and associate the position data with a medical practitioner identifier, a medical procedure identifier, and a medical procedure room identifier.
