Abstract: A ventilated hockey sock constructed out of a high-performance, moisture-wicking, cut-resistant woven or knitted fabric which has either two-way or four-way stretching properties depending upon desired usage, odor resistance, and has a double-layering of cut-resistant fabric in areas prone to abrasions and lacerations.

Abstract: Embodiments of the invention provide systems and methods for water purification. The systems have a preheater, a degasser, an evaporation chamber, a demister, and a control system, wherein the control system permits operation of the purification system through repeated cycles without requiring user intervention or cleaning. The system is capable of removing, from a contaminated water sample, a plurality of contaminant types including: microbiological contaminants, radiological contaminants, metals, salts, volatile organics, and non-volatile organics.

Abstract: A fully automated system for controlling water purification units based on distillation is provided. Control parameters and aspects in the system can include an overall power input fuse, a manual reset switch that resets the whole system to an initial state, a thermal overload switch, a product level switch, a boiler pressure switch, an inlet solenoid, a boiler drain solenoid, and a timer delay relay, a product output solenoid.
